They are great every time I go in. I've been to a few different vets since I've moved around quite a bit, and previous to Banfield, I was at Normandy Animal Hospital while I lived in Tukwila and Renton. I almost stayed with them if the main vet (can't remember his name right now) hadn't retired. But being in Puyallup now, I thought going to a large vet hospital might not be the best service. However, through all four of my cats, Banfield has given them to best treatment. All the vet techs know who I'm talking about when I ask about my pets and don't mind my constant random questions. My brain is a little frazzled at all times, but they don't rush me. I also do appreciate that they do go to the next patient while one is filling out forms or thinking of questions (me lol) because they value everyone's time. They don't take all the time away, they do come back to me once they're done checking them in and getting the verbal information they need for the visit, but they don't make them wait just because my brain is lagging. It may seem rude to some, but as someone who's either racking her brain for the questions I stored in the back of my mind or in a rush, I genuinely appreciate their client management.
I also appreciate that most of their appointments are drop-off, which gives me the time to do what I need and return for my baby later. They also don't push them further than they can handle. My Chewy had been there for a few hours, but was done with the tests. While he was a good sport for the visit, he reached his limit and they called me to grab him so as to not stress him out any more, allowing for me to come back at a later date for his pee sample. I do have him on the senior cat owp plan, so he did have extra tests done. But you don't know how often I've had vets push my cats to their limits then blame my cat for being uncooperative when they wouldn't recognize they were at their limit. All of the techs are kind and caring, clearly taking the time to understand how much love and care I put into my fur babies and reflecting that when checking their health. For that reason, even with the costs being a little high, I still come back time and time again.

It all happened so fast where we got the news of our baby being sick and needing to say our goodbyes. The Dr and staff were absolutely amazing and extremely caring. They made us feel comfortable and treated our family member great until his last breath. We picked up his remains today and again the front staff was caring. Thank you for making this sad moment for us into a thoughtful and caring process. We will miss our boy Rome!!!!

Banfield was great taking care of my chihuahua Lucy when I brought her in to be diagnosed with lump and sore, they were very sympathetic with her diagnosis and treatment process being diagnosed with breast cancer. Let me know all that was available for treatments. I am very thankful to them all!!

My Mabel is very well taken care of even though she can be quite the feisty cat. Her vet team is awesome and is always very insightful when it comes to her diagnosis and whatever made me come in that day. They’re great at communicating what’s happening to Mabel and when, the costs of her procedures, and how she is doing since I’m unable to be there most of the time. Great team and great vet!!

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?

You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
