  I feel like they really cared for my dog. Even with the follow up call the next day after his surgery.

  Dr Baillie is so gentle, friendly and professional. She won my dog Behyr over. Behyr has some anxiety issues, but she had no problem taking him to back room to give him his shots. Upon coming back, Behyr's tail wagging and so happy, he was proud of himself as well. Everyone is so very friendly here at Chimacum Valley Vet. Thank you so much! 💜

  My experience was not good. My dog is slowly starving to death and, while the hospital did let her come in, they sent her home with nothing but recipes for a bland diet. I phoned, but got no answer, even though they were open. I tried to get in touch with the vet, who left a message on voicemail. No answer. No call back. I cannot make appointment for 4 days. What exactly did they try with my dog? Anti nausea medication? Appetite stimulant? I was not told. Just a recipe for white rice and fat-free chicken, which she will not eat. And the cost was over $500.

  Today I was dreading my trip to the vet. One of my cats is semi-feral for everyone except me, and 7 years ago he had a traumatic experience at a different veterinary office. But his symptoms were serious enough that I knew I needed to bring him in. Everyone involved with Dorian's care today listened carefully to my concerns. But more importantly, they treated my beloved cat with gentleness and respect for his special needs. They outlined everything they were going to do and obtained my informed consent before acting, which was crucial to me. And the result? Dorian behaved beautifully and his treatment went off without a wrinkle. I cannot express how relieved I was at this visit. I've found a new "home" for Dorian when he needs future veterinary care, but even more importantly, I feel a deep sense of trust for this veterinary clinic.

  Both Port Townsend and Chimacum Valley are very accommodating, and they get you in as quick as they can. It's especially hard to find a vet with exotic animals, so being able to find someone and get them in as soon as possible is amazing. Especially a vet that shows great care. Understanding and has great communication. The front desk staff are very nice and friendly. They always make you feel welcome. Mr Slippers and I work with Doctor Reed and Doctor Puppage, And Their vet techs they are very good to both me and especially my baby boy. I feel like they treat us like family. And Mr. Slippers is definitely comfortable with them, and they handle him with great care. They are very helpful, and they answer my questions, and they show that they care. They go above and beyond to help him they always listen to my concerns And validate them. they encourage me and let me know that I'm doing my best for my bunny. Even in the hard times I highly recommend them for anyone with a bunny or any other animal.
