  I’ve been increasingly frustrated with this Petco’s feeder insect inventory. If this happened once or twice, I’d understand—supply chain issues happen. But this has been an ongoing problem for months. I’ve had multiple employees tell me to come on Tuesdays because the bugs sell out so quickly. That tells me this isn’t an unexpected issue; it’s a predictable pattern. If demand consistently exceeds supply, then inventory levels need to be adjusted. Continuing to run out of essential feeder insects reflects poor inventory planning and management. This is especially frustrating because Petco sells reptiles and other insect-eating animals, and customers depend on having access to feeder insects to properly care for their pets. For those of us who live on Whidbey Island, Petco is the only local store that sells feeder insects, so there often isn’t another option when they’re out of stock. I hope management reviews the ordering process and adjusts inventory to better match demand. Customers shouldn’t have to plan their schedules around the one day of the week they might be able to buy food for their pets.

  Hey, I bought some bones today. And your clerk, that wasn't paying attention, and she tried to overcharge him by 10 bucks if I didn't catch it, I wouldn't end up spending $10 more than I need than I needed to that's not right, I had to show her that it was AA lower price.

  I've been to several petco's over the years and this one by far has the most friendly staff and are pretty consistently well stocked!
