I am so upset with the clinic’s handling of my cat international health certificate following her January rabies vaccination. Despite three visits, the documentation remains invalid due to a missing microchip number and the lack of an attending veterinarian's signature. The lady at reception informed me that because the veterinarian was temporary, no signature is on file. The receptionist was dismissive, suggested an unnecessary revaccination despite recent $650 blood tests, and insisted I personally travel to Renton to locate the veterinarian. It is unacceptable that the burden of correcting these administrative failures has been placed on me. Due to this unprofessional conduct and lack of accountability, I will no longer use or recommend your services.

This location prioritizes charging customers over caring for pets or identifying the real root cause. We have been Banfield wellness plan members for my dog for the past 5 years, but our recent visits to the Coal Creek location completely broke our trust. We brought our dog in because he was vomiting with traces of blood. Before anyone even looked at him, the staff immediately started pushing a long list of expensive tests—pancreatitis screening, bloodwork, X-rays, and injections—without any initial examination. I had to ask that the veterinarian examine my dog before making any decisions. When the veterinarian came in, the same list of tests was repeated without any examination of our dog. I explained that my dog had undergone full bloodwork and pancreatitis testing just two months ago, and all results were normal. The only response was, “things can change every day,” with no medical observations or explanation. We eventually agreed to start with bloodwork first and decide on further testing based on the results. What shocked me most was that medication was prescribed before the bloodwork even began. When we questioned why tests were needed if the medication was required regardless, we were told the medication would be given no matter what and that the bloodwork was only to see if anything was worse. That made no sense—if my dog’s condition were worse, the treatment should change. Instead, it felt like the focus was on charging for both tests and medication without trying to understand the root cause. In the end, all tests came back normal, and we still left with no explanation for why our dog was vomiting blood—only a bill.

Warning from a real customer: Poor attitude, not careful, unreasonably charged! I needed immediate help with grooming my cat because I couldn't clean it up myself. I called the front desk, and he told me they weren't groomers but could help, so I came. According to the time and my needs, they helped to shave off some of the dirty hair. Just by shaving a tiny area of fur on my cat’s butt, they charged me $150 grooming fee. I'll accept the price because it seems to be the hospital’s rule. After paying, I checked on my cat again and he still had poop on his butt, stinky, and not entirely clean. I asked for better cleaning, so the front desk man just grabbed my cat's tail very rudely and wiped the cat's bottom very hard. So this is your $150 service? I asked him to be gentle, and he didn’t respond to my question and didn't change a bit. Bad attitude. Expectedly, he couldn't clean it either. I asked them to fully clean my cat, so a real doctor, who is nicer, more gentle and more professional than the front desk, was called over and took my cat. When the doctor returned, my cat still had a small amount of poop on its butt, which was still smelly and had several new scratches. The doctor said the scratches came from razors. I allow accidents and mistakes to happen, but the quality of service here is undeniably poor. For the third time, the doctor finally came back with a pretty-much clean cat. At least its butt doesn't stink this time. If you can’t handle this task, don’t say that you can help! And if you charge $150, do a service worth $150.
