Very friendly and helpful. Great for the animals whom seem to trust them. Remember you get what you pay for. If you didn't LOVE your pet you wouldn't even be there. Some people's pets are all they have left. If the price is too high find another place.

This place is horrible. I signed up for the Optimus wellness plan for my dog and they took money every month from my card for a little while till suddenly they stopped for reasons I have no clue why, there was nothing wrong with my payment method, all my other bills that I pay each month were fine. And because banfields payments were on automatic renewal every month, I didn't think to check and make sure it was being paid. After about 4 months of it not being paid, they finally called me to tell me I had a bill of $369.00 that I needed to pay. Keep in mind they never tried to contact me once to tell me there was a problem with my account, not through email, not through text, not through mail, not through phone, not through anything untill 4 billing cycles had went by. I even got online and checked on my plan a couple weeks before they finally called me, in my account online said it had my payment method and everything looked fine to me there was no alerts or anything on there. So then I had to pay that back and I couldn't afford to pay it all back at once so I had it put on payment plans they took money off my card every week and then i had to resign up for the plan all over again and re pay the sign up fee, but then I go to take my dog to the vet, which is when I was supposed to finish signing up and repaying the sign-up fee, and they tell me that I can't resign up while I'm actively paying on an over due bill which makes no sense at all, I literally got online sign into my Banfield account and then we signed up for The optimist wellness plan through my account, the one that still has an overdue amount. So you think when I'm signing up for it online it would of told me that. So I can't resign up so my dog can't be seen at the vet that day, so I leave there and go out to my car get online to see how much I still owe and I literally only owe $7.00, went back inside the Banfield pet hospital ask them if I pay it online then can I resign up and he says no because it takes a couple days to go through and I said well can I just pay it here then and he says no we don't do that here which I don't understand why it's a Banfield pet hospital optimist wellness plan, why can't I pay it there that makes no sense at all. Overdue for his vaccines possibly has a tick I'm not sure if it is or not he's got some skin tagging off of him I don't know what's wrong with him and he's sick and he can't be seen because of $7.00. plus the last two vet appointments I set for him there they did not see him then either, the first time it was cuz the app let me set an appointment during there lunch time which apparently is not allowed but the app let me set the appointment I even showed it to him on my phone but they couldn't see him because it was not allowed during that time, the second time I set an appointment with the app apparently he couldn't be seen for that appointment either because it was later than they allow appointments to be set but yet I showed it to them on my phone that he had an appointment with the app and I showed that to them on my phone and they still wouldn't see him because they said it's not during the times that they allow, so never set an appointment with your phone on the app because even if you have proof that you have the appointment because it's on your app and shows it on your account they still won't see you if it's not the time that they like. I almost feel like this whole thing was on purpose like they purposely quit charging my card so that I could resign up and repay the fee, in the cost of it had one up to so when I was trying to re-sign up the amount that I would have had to start paying every month went up but I couldn't resign up of course because of the stupid $7 that I still owed. Stay away from the Lacey Banfield pet hospital on Slater Kenny they're horrible they are no help at all the one on Pacific avenue is not as bad they were a lot more helpful when I was having issues with it.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll.
