    This review is more about the conditions of the reptile (specifically ball pythons) enclosures than customer service. How can Petco say they care about all animals when I witnessed two ball python enclosures significantly under the ideal humidity rage (one 15% and the other 20%). So much so one ball python was in active shed and was struggling with getting their shed off. Their skin looked so dry, and neither one of them had water. This made me so sad, these animals don’t ask to be here. Hire people who actually want what’s best for them if you are going to have and profit from them. I was so disgusted I no longer want to shop here.

    Customer service starts with respect, and unfortunately, this location continues to fall short. This is by far the worst customer service and curbside pickup experience I’ve ever had. To begin with, this location only has two curbside pickup “spaces”, and even those are clearly marked. Both spaces were occupied by other vehicles, so I called the store to ask if there were alternate curbside pickup spots. The employee who answered the phone (the same person who later brought out my order) immediately had an attitude and insisted she had just been outside, asking if I was sure I was parked in the right place. I was parked directly next to the #1 curbside spot. When she came outside, instead of greeting me, the first thing she said was, “I shouldn’t even be bringing you your order because you’re not in front of the store.” I handed her my ID and politely asked why there wasn’t clearer signage indicating where curbside customers should park, since the designated spaces aren’t directly in front of the entrance. She responded with more attitude, saying they’re a small store. I responded that the store isn’t particularly small, and other places have more prominent signs indicating that curbside orders only. I asked for her name, and she showed me her name tag. It read “Korina.” I then asked for the store manager’s name, and as she walked away with both her arms out in a taunting manner, she said, “I am.” When I inquired about the district manager’s name, I received the same response, attitude, and an added gesture of a foot in the air. I also noticed her attire. One of two Petco dress codes is very flexible, or she was out of dress code. After this interaction, I’ll also be purchasing elsewhere. I ended up calling customer service to file a formal complaint. I was informed that an internal investigation will be conducted. I genuinely hope so, as no customer should be subjected to such treatment, especially one who wasn’t giving Karen vibes.

    Cashier was very rude. Im not sure if she was having a bad day or not. But she sure did not like the idea of fishes being purchased. She really needs to ask questions in a very nice way instead of asking in a rude tone. Why would I buy a fish if I don't have a tank? I would def report her to corporate. And she didnt give me my receipt probably because she didn't want to get reported on. Please fix your customer service at this location. I will not come back to this location.

    Under staffed..one person for check out. She was assisting with fish. She did say she would be back. Over 10 minute wait. Not a problem just what happened. Staff member pulled in different directions.

    Store employee was not even dressed in uniform, approached my dog without asking if it was okay to pet her and when my dog barked slightly, she told me: “maybe don’t bring her to a pet store”. I have never had anyone with pet knowledge just reach for a dog and then blame me for their lack of judgement. My dog isn’t vicious, she didn’t bite—I would barely call it a bark. No longer shopping at petco since their employee flat out told us not to. My dog has been going there her entire life without any issues. Always MudBay, PetSmart, Reber Ranch, etc.
