- DLDaniela Landolfi2 days ago5.0My 3 cats primarily see Dr. Hymel at the Issaquah Banfield and we absolutely love her. They have also been seen by the other vets at this office and I am very happy with the level of care they were provided. The staff overall enthusiastically loves on and cares for my cats, and they even put up a picture of one of them in the back (she's kind of a celebrity there). My cats are all on wellness plans according to their needs. They will let you upgrade on the spot if your pet needs care that is not covered under your current plan (like dental care). Office visits are covered, so I dont hesitate to take my kitties in when I'm worried about their health. I love that their maintenhance care is paid for monthly so the cost is spread out over the year. You do have to pay on the spot for things like tooth extractions and other procedures that are not covered under the wellness plan, so be prepared if your pet ends up needing further care.

I'm annoyed this wasn't disclosed after they reached out to me to make the appointment to begin with!! This wasn't our first appointment there, and it wasn't disclosed for any other appointments either. I could have wasted my own time doing something else, on a Saturday morning with 4 kids who I had to find sitters for today for an absolute waste of time If your going to con people into your $90 pet care plan, you'd think you'd treat them a little better then this.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
