  Bathroom was dirty. Pet tag engraver did a horrible job. Staff was nice. Small store compared to Silverdale and Bremerton stores.

  Bought kitten food (milk replacement) that should not have been on the shelf. They didn't even have the brand I needed, so bought another brand. The bottom of the carton was a 2" layer of "paste" -- all the nutrients had settled to the bottom so solidly, they did not shake up. Found only after cutting up the carton. Don't buy milk replacement at Petco. They apparently leave very old pet food on the shelf! My kittens suffered.

  We stopped by to buy a harness and some toys for our dog. They have everything you need for pets. The prices were reasonable, and the staff was fast and friendly.

  Grooming staff is awful. They’re rude and disrespectful. I brought two Sheepadoodles in to get groomed. I brought one in at a time. My girl growled and they immediately said they wouldn’t take her. Okay, I get it. I also get why she growled. She’s a smart dog. The 2nd dog loves to get groomed. She also let out a short growl and that was it. They looked at her like she was a demon. The girl in the back sitting on a table started to determine why she let out the little growl saying that she is in pain because she’s matted. Oh, do you know her personally or are you a vet? I knew she would have to be shaved, but I didn’t see the need to have every inch of her body including her beautiful tail shaved down to the skin. Her ears, head and tail were beautiful and now they’re gone. It made me remember why I stopped going to Petco grooming. They’re a bunch of kids making minimum wage and not animal lovers. Dogs will be scared and nervous going to the groomer. They should know that. The comments and looks were hurtful and not necessary.

  I love this Petco and the staff. Yesterday was the first time I had an associate (Liv) more concerned with complaining about her headache, being left up front with trash and being tired than ensuring I was cashed out properly.
