  This review not about the vet, but clinic policy. Dishonest practice. The site shows clearly - $25 first visit appt. For some reason, they decided I don't apply for it because I requested a holistic vet. Ridicolous. Skechy. The web does NOT show ANYTHING that IF I request a HOLISTIC vet, $25 does not apply. On the contrary, for $25 web give you a few option which vet you want. The site info - "for new clients is valid for a first veterinary visit for dogs or cats only. The $25 promotion applies only to the exam fee and may not be applied to other services or items, including emergency or specialty services". Aerowood, please explain! My dog is not sick, no emergency, just needed a FIRST visit to check a skin condition because I saw some suspicious grown. I mentioned clearly that my dog is not sick and happy at the moment, but I have a concern, and might need a biopsy. I could say anything... Then you would charge me $25 or what? I paid a full price for the first visit of nearly $100. Basic short appt, nothing special. My dog is healthy according the vet. No biopsy needed. For a full panel blood test I paid additionally. So how so I was charged nearly $100? Also, prices for anal gland removal (a few sec procedure) and nail trip is ridicolously HIGH. Appx $45 each. I paid for these additionally. In positive note, I ONLY came to THIS clinic because of the HOLISTIC vet I knew from a different clinic. Otherwise, I would stay away. I don't like corporate clinics, always a red flag for me, and 20 years ago I had absolutely nightmare experience at the same clinic, but it was another owner.

  Worst possible? 1st free new patient appointment actually cost $138.22. I request written script for heartworm, never recieve. Forced to schedule 2nd appointment for 2nd heartworm bcuz they never sent script. Scheduled yesterday for 930 this morning and they forgot to put in on the calendar. I wait an additional half an hour for test needed due to their ignorance and am charged $30 more for heartworm than I was quoted yesterday. It's okay though because the office manager I spoke with yesterday is out of the office. Pay our demands or I guess repeat and spend another day off entertaining more ignorance. The accusation of harassment by the staff member covering reception when I questioned the increase in price really sealed the deal. Fool me once shame on you...fool me twice? DO NOT RELY on AEROWOOD animal hospital to take care of your pet.

  Dr. Gavin is an absolute treasure. She has shepherded us through the lives of both our rescue shih tzus and met every trial with kindness, compassion and measured opinions. Today, she helped one of them cross over and we are forever grateful.

  We have been going to Aerowood Animal Hospital for two of our cats. One of them has redirected aggression towards the other after the move and it has been really hard for us to make the situation better. Dr Marta Nobrega has been a huge help with lots of knowledge and guidance. We really hope that they will be back to normal loving each other soon. 🙏🏽

  I have brought my cats here for years and they are super sweet with them. Easy to make appointments and contact. Super thorough during their visits, highly recommend!
