  Place is a joke they sell crap I could make better with super glue zip ties Popsicle sticks bought nerf gun for tennis ball for dog never worked . Bought a nail filler for dog brand new battery s 35 dollars 30 dollars for batt operatored nail file for dog it wouldn't even file a child's nail .. there store .. operator would return totally disrespectful..

  Excellent service and I easily find what I need. After a decade of shopping here I can say that the employees are always very helpful.

  I visited Petco 4/6 to buy food for my dog. As I approached the checkout counters no one was available at the cash registers. Not a problem - this is typical and someone usually comes along quickly. On this particular day I waited for several minutes. An employee eventually came to one of the cash registers. It was not the one I was standing at. He did not say hello, he did not say I’ll take you over at this cash register. He simply stood there until I picked up my purchases and walked over to the register he was standing at. He STILL did not say a word to me. He rang me up. The only words he spoke to me this entire encounter was to rudely tell me what I owed. Using the checkout credit card machine I made my donation and paid for my purchase. He never thanked me. Never wished me a good day. His name is Jon. I’ve been a customer at this store for as long as they’ve been in business. I have always found the staff friendly and helpful. This person has no business being in retail much less being around people’s cherished pets.
