  They did a terrible job grooming my dog. I complained and they said tough and charged me $80. Won’t ever be coming back and cannot recommend anyone else does either

  Easily the worst managed pet co, nothing has been restocked for 2 months at this point and the stores insanely dirty. The staff is extremely kinda but obviously stressed and under trained. Manage your store better and actually stock your supply’s :)

  This place never has the filters in stock for the water fountains I got for my pets. At least, they never have them on the shelves. I've had to order them online every time. The staff never seem to man the registers. If I'm not lucky enough to get in line when they're already ringing up another customer in usually waiting in line for several minutes or have to track someone down. The only saving grace is when I do interact with the employees they range from apathetic to helpful, but have never been given rude attitudes. But that just barely raises the score from a 1 star. Lastly, it seems they constantly move the pet food around. Not the food section itself, but the brands get switched on the shelves a lot so it feels like it's always a scavenger hunt each time. It's enough of a headache to go somewhere else.

  Everytime I go here theres something wrong. I told the girl at the counter that almost all their bugs are dead and she said ill have to look like I lied about it. I said they are black upside down not moving dead and still proceeded to tell me i must be wrong. Its been weeks and its still the same with the bug situation. Also was interested in buying a gerbil or hamster and wanted to see a different couple ones to see which would be a better fit for my 6 year old and they told me that unless im buying it I cant see any of them. NEVER in the past have I seen a pet store or this one tell me we cant look at one to see if we wanna buy or choose which one. I DO NOT recommend this place at all. Spend your money elsewhere. Employees here are lazy and dont care. This is at the berlin VT store.
