  First off-- I am only leaving this review here as it is my local store-- but this review is regarding the online RX pet food service. DO NOT BUY RX PET FOOD FROM PETCO! I have been purchasing RX cat food from Petco for a long time. My vet has sent several RX's per their request for Hill's C/D cat food. I have always been able to purchase both dry and canned food. Beginning with my last renewal in April 2026, my autoship order only contained dry food, and the order said C/D canned food was cancelled due to supply issues. May 2026, same thing. No notification, no request to change to a different flavor. I chatted the customer support team to explain for over an hour to attempt to fix, no luck. I emailed the customer support team who my case was "escalated" to starting on 5/30/2026. I have gone back and forth with them via email for almost 3 weeks now. First, they said they only had a RX for dry food, then only for canned food. Then they understood the problem, and could use the Rx for C/D food for canned and dry, then they could only send dry. My cat eats both, I have had to pay for several vet calls and RX's to be sent for clarification and STILL they can't get it right. Then, they said they only had an RX for dry food, the next week they said they only had a RX for canned food... it is ALL THE SAME FORMULA, just different versions of the SAME FOOD. I started asking on May 30th how to transfer the RX to a provider that could fill it, with no answers, then told they couldn't send me a copy of the RX OR Transfer it.. for 3 weeks and HOURS of emails and time dealing with this incompetence, I still have not food, no RX, no transfer of RX and a cat with no RX food waiting to get a bladder stone because of the sheer incompetence and lack of understanding and compassion of a basic chain of events. They have no desire to fix problems, troubleshoot or provide customer support. Just excuse after excuse and changing from one story to another. DO NOT USE PETCO for your RX PET FOOD!!

  Mildred is the best. She has always taken such very good care of my very unfriending and uncooperative Chihuahua. Today she gave my puppy his first hair cut. He was a matted mess and now he is so handsome. She is wonderful. Thank you for being so kind to my babies!
