We had an appointment for our 3 month old puppy. The front desk appeared to be understaffed and challenged to keep up. Never seen a doctor. We handed our puppy to a tech and they brought him back out. The computer system seems very slow. (This was pointed out by a sign at the front desk) We have been with this Banfield for over 16 years with 4 dogs and it seems off and on with staffing and constant operation. Very disappointed and may consider moving on to another practice.

I’ve been going to this location for 4.5 years and I love them. I have a large reactive dog and they are very patient and accommodating to his needs. My dog adores one of the nurses named Virginia. Crystal at the front desk is super nice and has been quick to resolve my concerns.

Banfield was recommended by a friend who had a long-time experience with their dogs so I looked into it and have been so pleased. It is conveniently located and the membership is reasonably priced plus great care.

Our 10# Maltese terrior when for his grooming. Casper is a sweetheart till you attempt to groom him. He hates his paws, legs and yes nail to be touched. We had a lovely young lady that took him and groomed him with expertise. He looked so cute! I thank her for her patience and care of our Casper.

I’m going to share this as respectfully as possible because this situation is extremely frustrating. If you have a dog that may be perceived as an “aggressive breed” (even when they are not aggressive), be aware that it only takes one person labeling your dog as such for it to follow them in their records. Once that happens, your pet can be flagged as needing sedation or a muzzle moving forward. My dog Zeus has been going to PetSmart for grooming every three months without any issues since he was born. In fact, the staff has always spoken highly of him and how well-behaved he is. However, after one visit to a Banfield location (not our usual one, but the only one with availability), they documented that he needed sedation. Now, when returning to his regular location, we’re being told he must be sedated before services will be provided. This is incredibly upsetting, especially because Zeus is a very calm, friendly dog, honestly, he’d probably make friends with a burglar. To make matters worse, the experience with the new staff has been disappointing. Communication is inconsistent, questions are not clearly answered, and the overall approach has felt dismissive and unprofessional. One staff member provides partial information, while another provides none at all, leaving clients confused about processes and expectations. I truly hope this is addressed, because both pets and their owners deserve better care, communication, and consistency.
