  Went to Petco to find a raincoat for my 10# chihuahua mix, who has a long body and is hard to fit. Staff were very helpful in helping me choose the raincoat with hood I purchased (size small). Fits my dog well and she even likes the hood. Wouldn't go out in the rain before but now wants to go on long walks in the rain. Coat kept her dry head to tail.

  I am writing to formally complain about the extremely disappointing experience I had today during a grooming appointment at your location. When I arrived for the appointment, I was informed that the groomer I originally selected had called off, and another groomer named Demond would be taking over. From the moment I arrived, he was very rude and unprofessional, which immediately made me uncomfortable about leaving my dog there. Despite my hesitation, I decided to give the situation a chance because my dog needed grooming. One of the first major red flags I noticed was that he was not even able to properly pick my dog up when we arrived. My dog is only around 20 pounds, and at the other Petco location I normally visit, the groomer there always handles him gently and takes very good care of him. Instead, this groomer placed a leash around my dog’s neck and was pulling him rather than handling him carefully, which immediately concerned me. I dropped my dog off around 2:00 PM, and nearly three hours later, around 5:00 PM, I finally received a call stating that he was unable to groom my dog because my dog was allegedly being “snappy” or trying to bite. What frustrated me most was the lack of explanation as to why it took three hours to determine this. My dog was kept there for hours with nothing accomplished, and I was given very little communication or clarification. What made the situation even worse was my dog’s condition when I picked him up. He came home smelling absolutely horrible, like a dead animal. I have never smelled anything that bad on him before. I had to immediately take him home and bathe him myself because the odor was unbearable. This raises serious concerns for me regarding the cleanliness and hygiene standards of your grooming area, and I strongly believe someone needs to inspect the conditions of that location. Additionally, my dog came home acting very sad and withdrawn, which deeply concerns me as a pet owner. I cannot help but wonder whether he was treated poorly during his time there. Overall, this experience was unacceptable, unprofessional, and upsetting. I trusted your grooming service with my dog, and instead, I left feeling frustrated, disappointed, and concerned for his wellbeing. Because of this experience, I do not plan on returning to this location. I would appreciate this matter being reviewed seriously and addressed appropriately.

  I took my dog to Petco in to be groomed & Savannah did an amazing job ! My dog is usually quite scared and difficult when it comes to water & nail trims, but Savannah got it done with no issues and my dog looks and smells amazing. She was super excited and happy when i picked her up! We will definitely be going back!!

  Slow to get staff help but the staff was great. They turned picking a fish into a game for my 4 year old he'll never forget.
