Any time that you aren't able to reach your primary care veterinarian, we are here to assist with 24/7 emergency services. Here, our Springfield emergency and critical care vets are specially trained in triaging, diagnosing, treating and monitoring pets suffering from life-threatening conditions, injuries and illnesses.

Having to put my dog down was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, but this vet clinic was incredibly compassionate and supportive through the entire process. The staff treated my dog with dignity, kindness, and genuine care, and they showed so much empathy to my family during such a painful time. They made an unbearable situation a little easier, and I’ll always be grateful for the professionalism and compassion they showed us. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet clinic that truly cares.
UPDATE:
Today I picked up my Sasha puppy from the clinic. Everything was packed beautifully, and the box she’s in is very nice. Her paw print was done so thoughtfully as well.
After settling in for the night, I checked the mail and found a card from RVEC with a packet of forget me not seeds inside. I’ve never run a business before, but the fact that the owner or someone on their team thought of something like this and was willing to do it for families going through such a difficult decision was incredibly thoughtful and appreciated. I wish I could leave another five star review. I don't think this is a 4.0 company. All the staff there are very nice and I wish they could move to NC with me.
Form the Stephens family, thank yall very much for what yall do!! For the person at RVRC that reads this review, make sure your staff and the ppl that were involved with Sasha are told that as well!

This is our go to Emergency Vet in the area. We have been here three times and each time our pup has received amazing care quickly. It’s expensive but compared to other emergency vets in the area it’s the most reasonably priced.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. My cat was hit by a car over the weekend had to take her to a ER open on weekends, read great reviews about this place however the price is extremely high and they did not notify me that my cats rib was exposed and her wrap came off so easily which cost $75 and then when I came back less than 24hrs to get her re wrapped they charged another $75. I had her looked at by a different ER for less on a weekday and they told me that she needed emergency surgery due to her exposed ribs and her whole stomach was exposed which this place didn’t inform of. Not only did they not do any type of surgery or much care but give my cat pain meds they cost me $800 for them to not even tell me how badly my cat was hurt. I took her to Emmavet and I highly recommend them, they took way better care of my cat and for surgery and all meds it only cost me $1,500 that’s including follow ups and the pre check. Please do not bring your pets to this place they do not care about your pet at all!!!!

They took EXCELLENT care of my dog and their prices are rather reasonable. They treated him so well, they clipped his nails, and played with him! I was truly relieved by how they got a feel for his character before working with him. I highly highly recommend them!
Edit: I called to ask about the price of a medication and the receptionist was rude and said “we are an emergency room” in response to my shock that the medication that’s $7 on Amazon is $30 there. It seems like you’re taking advantage of people and sick animals. Very rude though so I took off stars.

Emergency euthanasia was drawn out, painful, traumatic, careless, sloppy, etc. Assistant was heartless and cared not for patient’s basic needs. Prep was hidden from owner while animal cried out repeatedly in the back for a long time and owner was informed they would only start a line on the arthritic cancer filled broken leg. Disclaimer which was worded in a concerning way was required to receive care. Cost was also astronomical. I do not recommend.
