We recently adopted a two year old cat and we wanted to shop locally for his necessities and niceties. Online reviews pointed us here and now we are joining the chorus — this is the pet store you’re looking for! Don’t let the name fool you either; they have supplies for most pets, not just canines. All sorts of pet foods, toys, harnesses, leads, and I believe they also have grooming services because I had the pleasure of watching a rainbow colored standard poodle saunter past me on my last visit. I asked the wonderful employee standing next to me if they saw the poodle too because I was incredulous something so magnificent seemed so unsurprising to everyone else. These folks are the cat’s pajamas, y’all. Now we find ourselves looking for reasons to return. We highly recommend this pet shop. Indubitably 5 stars.

Sarah is an amazing groomer! Our Airedale, Kitt, is extremely shy and we had no idea how she'd react to grooming when we got her; not only was Sarah able to work with us to ensure Kitt felt comfortable and safe in the salon but her cuts always look incredible too! Great to have found someone who's knowledgeable about the Airedale standard cut as well :)

EDITED: I appreciate the owner responding, but this reply completely missed the point. I am not interested in being on "hey beautiful" terms with any of your employees, and it's wildly unprofessional to expect that I should or would be if I just got to know them better. Yikes. _________________ The Carytown store has a huge variety of product for such a compact space. I just wish I could browse in peace without being ambushed by employees every time I take a step! An offer to help and being greeted at the door is wonderful, but the one clerk calling everyone "beautiful" or "mi'lady" and making personal comments is unprofessional and makes me very uncomfortable. Be available to answer a question or make a recommendation, and then back off!

I go to the Carytown location for grooming. Sarah M does such a great job with my 2 Standard Poodles. I would not trust them with anyone else. She has always been reliable and completes the cut in a timely 2 hours. They always come home relaxed and looking great. She is very much appreciated! The dogs love her!
