  Not sure why this place has poor reviews, but my experience with Dr. Johnson, the vet tech, and the front desk staff has been really pleasant. I took my cats to VCA, and they were all about treating my cats like animals who can attack them instead of their own patients. That’s why I came to Banfield, and I really appreciate Dr. Johnson’s personal touch and patience. Prices are so much better too.

  Stay away from this place. Have my dog exam and vaccinated here for about a year. Not because I like it just because I accidentally picked this place and don't want to change (I am lazy). Today I have a appointment at 3:30 and I arrived at 3:33, 3 mins late. When I get the there the front desk lady was taking care of customers. I waited for 10 mins and finally the lady was able to speak to me. When I check in she told me that my dog can't be treated and I need to make another appointment and com back tomorrow, because I was late for 10 mins. First of all, I was not late for 10 mins. Second, even I was late for 10 mins, you can't just tell me you are cancelling my appointment and I have to come back next day. I told her she is wrong. She went to check with the vet. A while later she came back and said my dog can be treated. When the vet came out, she told me that she can only do one of the two treatments my dog suppose to get. The reason was that I was late for 15 mins! I corrected her immediately. She said, "we have cameras all over in the store. The video can show you were late for 15 mins." I asked her how much money she wants to bet on, if I was not 15 mins late. She dare not and said she can't bet with customers. I said then show me the video to prove that I was late for 15 mins. She said, "I am not able to show you the video." It is bizarre! Why you even mentioned the video? Do you have any logical thinking? I told her that this place lost my business for ever. Even Banfield. I will NOT renew my plan with Banfield after the current one ends. The other thing with this particular Banfield place is that they are always over priced. For the same medicine, Chewy.com has better price, always. I will give this place NEGATIVE 5 star if there is an option. Stay away from this place.

  Do not take your animals there for anything other than simple vaccines. They will talk you into getting a plan for your dog to get a dental but then won’t do the dental if there is anything beyond cleaning and won’t explain why. Go to a real vet!

  Went there because my senior dog has an ear infection. The place is filthy. Hair and dirt everywhere : the Ben h where you’re supposed to sit, the floor, the x ray screen had sticky substance all over it, what looked like puss sprayed on the wall, hair and grime everywhere, washed my hands and there were no paper towels in room. I didn’t sit or put my purse down it was so filthy. I brought my dog for an ear infection, they cleaned the ear and when he came back his head was bleeding! They said they held his head so tight they popped a cyst he has had there for years. The cyst is still intact now that I’m home so they just injured him. Pup was whining in pain. At checkout, they wanted to charge me $56 for the 2minute ear clean. I luckily got that removed. When I came home I found they charge me about $45 for an ear cleaner that is $22 on chewy. I called and inquired about returning it and the woman refused even tho the cleaner is factory sealed and not used. Horrible gross location, over charging for services and marking up medications. Go to any other Banfield than this one. Gross experience all around.
