- JTJ T6 days ago1.0I would give zero stars if I could. The front desk staff was always courteous. But the vets are HORRIBLE! I’m actually convinced all Banfield’s are profit focused and do not care about the animals let alone the families who love their animals! Both of my dogs were misdiagnosed. Certain things were never brought to my attention. Just horrible. DO NOT GO TO ANY BANFIELD! FIND AN EXPERIENCED AND ETHICAL VETERINARIAN!
- CPChristina PinkstonOct 2, 20261.0Extremely long waiting periods, even with scheduled appointments!! Don't call this particular pet hospital because, more often than not, you will be put "on hold" indefinitely, OR the call will be ended prior to you speaking. Most importantly, my dog was NOT treated well at all on her important health visit, and, as a result, she now suffers from very HIGH ANXIETY!!! My heart is broken for her. I will go to a different location! I absolutely MUST, for the love of my dog!
- HMHelaina McClanahanSep 8, 20265.0We take our dog and cat here. Everyone is nice and helpful. You can tell they love animals.
- SASamantha AdamsAug 26, 20265.0Every time we bring our dog Elsie to Norfolk Banfield, I know she gets the best care possible. I love how transparent they are about their treatment plans and costs. I can tell the staff there genuinely care about the animals and love what they do. They are great about giving updates via phone call and don’t mind when I call to check in if I drop my dog off. Also, shout out to Jakob the receptionist as he is always so kind and reassuring. I can tell he takes his job very seriously and goes the extra mile for Elsie and the other animals!

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
