  I experienced incredibly unprofessional service from the front desk staff here. The receptionist, Jaila, was dismissive and rude—rolling her eyes and refusing to answer my insurance questions, telling me to just 'look online' even after I explained I had already done so and needed clarification. When I asked for her name, she refused to give it to me, forcing me to ask another staff member just to identify her. The maturity level at the front desk feels like a high school playground, and it is entirely clear why this place doesn't come recommended locally. Using unprofessional staff to handle patient care is completely unacceptable.

  I absolutely love this place, although the personnel has changed since I started with Banfield back in 2022, the care Hannibal has received is second to none.

  I am beyond heartbroken and disappointed with Banfield Pet Hospital. On Friday, May 22, My fiancé brought our dog in because he was sick, but he was still walking, alert, and responsive. Banfield kept him for hours, charged us for expensive medications, and told us it was likely something involving his nervous system that required antibiotics. After starting the medications they prescribed, our dog rapidly declined. By Sunday, May 24, he could no longer walk at all. He was rushed to an emergency animal hospital, where he later passed away. It was there that we learned what was actually going on with him, and I was told that Banfield had completely misdiagnosed his condition. What makes this even more upsetting is that Banfield has refused to take accountability. They will not refund the money that was paid for the visit, medications, or services that failed our dog, and they are still trying to charge for wellness plan payments after his death. We trusted Banfield to care for a dog that was loved for six years, and instead I feel like our concerns were dismissed, his condition was mishandled, and valuable time was lost. No pet owner should have to experience this kind of heartbreak while also fighting over charges and payments afterward. I would strongly encourage other pet owners to ask questions, seek second opinions, and carefully consider where they take their pets for medical care. R.I.P our sweet boy you definitely did not deserve that!

  I have been using Banfield for my dogs for years. They have a good plan that saves us money with friendly associates.
