  New to the area, we were delighted to discover Playful Pack–Midlothian. Our dogs have stayed at other daycare and boarding facilities, including the leading provider in the Richmond area, but none compare to Playful Pack’s level of service, care, attention, and understanding of canine behavior. We have been extremely impressed by how thoughtfully the staff cares for our dogs and the other dogs in their care. The private webcams allowed us to observe the dogs during daycare, giving us the reassurance we needed to feel confident about an upcoming extended boarding stay. Seeing the daily activities firsthand makes it clear that the staff treats each dog as an individual while also maintaining a calm, balanced pack—whether in the large-dog or small-dog area. They are caring, attentive, and responsive to each animal’s specific needs. The staff also does an exceptional job accommodating each dog’s personality, creating a smooth experience and minimizing unnecessary stress. Their thoughtful day-to-day structure has given us a level of confidence that we have not experienced with other local providers. We are very grateful for the excellent care our dogs have received and highly recommend Playful Pack–Midlothian for both daycare and boarding services.

  Had our first experience with Winnie utilizing their daycare services. Everything fine, staff friendly, and Winnie handed back to us in great shape. We'll return.

  I’m very happy to find this place for my love pet. He’s happy and tired when I picked him up! The people are very friendly and respectful and they accommodate my request regarding my pet. The place is clean and friendly. The only thing I would like to see is that they install cameras outside where the pets play. Other than that we are very satisfied and happy.

  We brought our puppy here because he was full of energy and we desperately needed help getting his energy out. When we picked him up he was so happy to see us but while taking him to the car he did not want to go, he wanted to stay! He is worn out and fell asleep on the car ride home. The Playful pack team took tons of adorable and hilarious pictures of our pup that will be framed in our home! I am so appreciative of this doggy daycare and so glad I took my pup here! 100% going back.

  We came into town for a soccer tournament ! Nick the owner called us before my inquiry online was processed lol when we arrived we felt like we have always been there ! Our pup was treated with respect and love on the first day and when we came back he ran to the door to get back in ! Courtney and all the staff are amazing the second night we had to board because of a late soccer game and they made it work for us last minute to make sure our pup was taken care of and loved ! I can’t tell you how hesitant I am with doggie daycare and boarding but this team made it sooooooo easy and filled with love ! I wish I could have taken them with us home ! This place is A++++++ !!! I will say whenever I’m back in town I will bring our fur baby here !
