  I called to the store to see if they were having the cat sample as advertised on their website (including location), email and the app- the employee said they did not have any these weekend nor will they have any future and then he brushed me off the phone- We are Petoc Member - Well it is back to Chewy- don’t go there they are rude and . Do not honor their word

  I had a terrible experience trying to get my dog's prescription Purina Pro Plan NF. Petco had told me USPS would be the deliverer before I ordered it as I have problems with FedEx. 2 days later an email from FedEx that my package would be shipped FedEx Economy which is the worst as they use Contract drivers. First day I took off work to receive it and they said there was no street address for my house (FALSE), second day attempt another day I took off, they claimed wrong address on package (FALSE), third day they turned it over to a FedEx driver and it came but it had been sitting in a hot truck for at least 3 days, and no way was I going to accept it. So Petco said they would send a replacement and expedite shipping and use UPS (FALSE), they sent it FedEx Economy again and took 4 more days. In the meantime, since I had just lost ALL faith in getting my dog's much needed food since he was diagnosed with kidney disease, I went to Pet Smart and they sold me Hills KD prescription food as my Vet had issued another Rx. Petco assured me that I could return the bags of food to a physical store if I chose and a refund would be issued. I told them I had used my PayPal account and they said that would NOT be a problem. When I took both bags of food to the local Petco, they said their system would not allow them to refund the $90 to my card. The only option was to get a store merchandise return card. So reluctantly, I took it. Now I read that I cannot use this card for purchases online to pickup at the store. This is NOT FAIR! I am highly fed up with Petco. After I use this card, I will NOT be doing any business in the future with Petco. I have 7 dogs and can find other Pet Companies that will treat me with respect! What a night mare and time consuming and the most important, is my dog needing this special diet ASAP.

  Would not stop my auto ship on dog food told I had to go online or call customer service staff however they were able to set me up in the store with no concerns

  I went to buy a few things for my hermit crabs and decided to add a new friend to our hermies. This is the 3rd time I have frequented this store and couldn't find any floor associates to help. I walked to the front and asked the cashier for help who just looked at me and said "okay" but after about 10 min still never came to help. I was finally about to put the stuff back and leave when an associate was passing by and I asked them for assistance on buying a hermit crab. She was friendly and when we walked up to the register the cashier just looked at me and may have then remembered they forgot to come help me.
