The worst animal hospital/Vet. Poor customer service, lack of patience for detailed questions and doesn’t carry medication that they are recommending for your pet. They could use customer service training and a medication provider to have the recommended meds on hand!

I used to love coming here and have always had great experiences with Dr. Lyons. Unfortunately, during my dog's recent illness, we saw Dr. Beadles instead, and it was the worst veterinary experience I've ever had.
She was rude, spoke over us instead of listening to our concerns. Horrible bedside manner. As pet owners, we were already worried, and being treated that way only made an already stressful situation even worse.
What was especially concerning was hearing Dr. Beadles speaking negatively about the hospital and the staff just outside the exam room. That was unprofessional and did not inspire confidence in the care being provided.
I left feeling disrespected and disappointed. Compassion and communication are just as important as medical knowledge, and unfortunately, neither was demonstrated during our visit. I sincerely hope the owners are aware of how clients are being treated because this experience has made me consider finding a veterinary practice where both pets and their owners are treated with kindness and respect.

I had a great experience here! My dog needed his booster vaccines, and the sweetest blonde staff member came out to help us. She immediately loved on him like she'd known him forever, which made him feel so comfortable. She was incredibly kind, caring, and welcoming. Experiences like this make bringing my dog to the vet so much easier. I truly hope we get to see her again at our next visit!

I wasn't going to leave a review because we removed our German Shepard from this location but I feel like I need to let others know of how we were treated by Dr. Perez. Our dog, Bocephus, was brought in because his right leg was hurting and he was limping. Please keep in mind that this location always had us drug our dog before we brought him in and we always muzzled him as well. We had never seen Dr. Perez before so I was a little apprehensive and when she came into the room she was very loud and she did not even try to gain our dogs trust. I kind of felt like she didn't even care that there was anything wrong with him. When she went to look at his leg she quickly jumped down to him and it upset him and he barked loudly and growled and immediately she acted like he was the plague. When she started talking to myself and my husband Bocephus tried to walk and smell her foot and she very rudely said get him away from me. He tried to bite me. No, he didn't. So I told her I thought that was rude and she said then this appointment is over with and she slammed the door and then you could hear her laughing back there. If you are reading this and you care about your animals DO NOT let them be seen by her. Each and every time our dog needed something he had to be sedated. Today we took him to Disputanta Animal Hospital and saw Dr Eaton. When she came into the room, she immediately sat on the floor and gained our trust and our dog's trust in the first 5 minutes of meeting her. She was able to take Bocephus out of the room without us, check his ears, and take blood. All of this was done without sedation. When she brought our dog back to us he was calm and not afraid. 15 minutes before our appointment was over with she told my husband to take his muzzle off Bocephus. He was able to go up to her while she was sitting down on the floor and she pet him and loved on him and this was the first time she had ever met him. We also took him today without gabapentin and trazodone. So she met Bocephus as he was without being drugged and she gave him the time and the respect that he deserved and not once did any vet at that Hopewell Animal Hospital ever do that for him. There was also one other instance where we took Bocephus and to have his nails trimmed and they took him out of the room and my husband and I heard him whining outside the room so we opened the door and he looked and one of the vet technicians had a rope wrapped around his neck to where he couldn't breathe. They were choking him. So after that we told them that our dog would not leave our side while we were there. That should have been enough for us to leave but I've tried to give them grace then the instance with Dr. Perez happened and that was enough for me. When we were leaving that day after that confrontation with Dr. Perez you could hear her laughing still in the back room about what happened with our dog. She's very unprofessional and she is in the wrong profession. It doesn't matter how big your dog is. If you're paying for services they deserve to be treated just as any other animal should be treated and they showed us that today at Disputanta Animal Hospital.

I made the mistake of trying this place again after 7 years because my normal vet was booked up. Big Mistake! Terrible customer service, took forever and then I was illegally charged fees on my debit card!!
