- AHAbby HApr 19, 20261.0We attempted to bring our dog here for the first time and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Courtney did not take any time to get to know our dog before immediately listing reasons he might be sent home (such as whining or barking), which felt discouraging right from the start. She also mentioned she “didn’t have time to do the full VIP package,” but as new customers, we had no prior explanation of what that meant or what to expect. This lack of communication made the experience even more confusing. Additionally, when my husband mentioned our dog had previously been on trazodone following a recent neuter, it seemed to raise concern—even though he has since been cleared and is no longer on the medication. She indicated “it seems like we are not a good fit for you”. Overall, the interaction came across as dismissive, as though there was little interest in actually working with our dog. It was a frustrating and defeating experience, especially after taking the time to come in. I would strongly recommend that new clients receive a call or clearer information ahead of time so expectations and requirements are properly communicated before arrival.
