You can tell the employees actually care about the animals and take time to answer questions. They usually have everything I need in stock, from pet food to toys and supplies, and checkout is always smooth. Overall just a reliable place with good customer service and a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely one of the better pet stores around.

- ABAshley BucyMay 6, 20263.0I ordered 80 large crickets I received half that amount when I was in there today I have never had any issues with petco before now but how do you charge someone for 80 crickets and give them maybe 40 I have 2 bearded dragons that eat 20 each each feeding that's one feeding versus 2 which means extra gas I was trying to prevent having to use I hope this doesn't happen again or I'll have to find a new way to get them their bugs. I've also never had this happen either why were there random beetles in the bag with my crickets. Had I not caught that they were there they could've have been bad for my babies.

Waited for nearly an hour and no help. Went to the front register and the lady said “oh, she’s on the phone now”. Will never do business there again even though I am a long time Petco shopper.
