  Was told by groomer not bring my dog back again, they not want to deal with him anymore. They never finish his cut on the front legs or face, or cut his nails. Even with a muzzle on. A 20 lbs dog. And yes he had some Matt's around 4 or 6 around his collar area and under his front legs where the harness fits.

  This place is very reputable . Picked up my client's dog from here after getting groomed . They have been going here for years and they absolutely love it.

  The worst place to take your pet. They left cuts on his legs and put it on the dog that he won't be still. come on now..... some of their staff have the worst customer service.

  I was very disappointed with my experience....I usually take my 2 goldendoodles to a groomer in Va Beach but was looking for something closer to home...I did my research and heard a lot of great things about Canine Design and they’ve been around for years....as soon as I walked in with my 2 goldendoodles I was told that they would have to be completely shaved from nose to tail and that they were completely matted......when the groomer checked them she didn’t show me a matte but still said that they would have to be fully shaved as they were completely matted....I ended up not leaving them and was able to take them directly to their normal groomer in Va Beach and they only found a couple small mattes on one of the boys heads that they were able to comb out and they look amazing...I was really disappointed, I was made to feel as though my dogs are unkept and that they were in terrible shape when in reality I think they just didn’t want to take the time to do a proper groom and summer cut on two larger dogs...these were not two dogs that needed to be shaved in any way

  My brother has poor standards when it comes to regularly grooming his toy poodle, so once a month I pick her up and drop her off at canine designs and they fix her up every time not to mention they have very affordable rates. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. I've Been coming for a few years now and never once felt judged for the sometimes terrible condition of her coat if you had bad experience here I'm sure the issue wasn't them.
