- RSRowan Scamander1 day ago1.0took our cat who was rapidly losing weight from not eating for suspected tooth issues, and i don’t even think they looked at his teeth at all. the vet brushed me off, acted like i was wasting her time and like was reluctant to do anymore testing or examinations. took him to a different vet today and they looked at his teeth and showed me he had two teeth on one side in horrible shape. like they were blackened, no way a vet could miss this. super don’t take your pets here lol
- TRTina RJan 2, 20261.0My 9 year old dog’s rabies vax expired three months ago. Banfield only authorized a one year new vax instead of the normal three year vax. Said it was up to the Vet’s discretion— the VET’S DISCRETION!!! I repeat my dog is 9 years old the former shot just expired! Discretion means they could have said YES to a new three year shot but choose to say no and only gave a one year!!! This means this place is only after money!!! Pick another Vet facility and not Banfield!!

All the staff are very helpful and take the time to have conversations not just about my dog’s physical health, but her interactions and place in my home (along with 2.5 year old human). Banfields scheduling is easy and the communication before and after appt is easy and much appreciated.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
