Gastrointestinal illness diagnosis and treatment
Gastrointestinal illness treatment at Banfield Pet Hospital® starts with identifying the underlying cause – which can range from dietary issues to infections – and then providing appropriate therapy such as diet changes, fluid therapy, or medication.
General dentistry
All Banfield Pet Hospital® locations offer basic dental care for pets. This may include professional cleanings, dental examinations, or oral surgeries to maintain oral health and prevent diseases.
General surgery
Surgery is a broad category in veterinary medicine. At Banfield Pet Hospital ®, surgeries may include routine spaying and neutering to common operations, performed to address health issues or injuries in animals.
Microchipping
At Banfield Pet Hospital®, we provide microchipping for pets. This process involves inserting a chip under the pet's skin, with a unique ID that can help reunite lost pets with their owners.
Parasite control
Parasite treatment at Banfield Pet Hospital® may involve administering medication to eradicate and prevent parasites, such as fleas, ticks, and worms, that infest or infect animals.
Spaying and neutering
At Banfield Pet Hospital®, spaying (for females) and neutering (for males) are surgical procedures performed under anesthesia. These procedures can help prevent unwanted breeding and may reduce the risk of certain cancers and behavioral issues in pets.

Vaccinations are available at Banfield Pet Hospital®. Administering vaccines is a preventative health care measure that can help protect pets against various diseases, such as rabies, distemper, and parvovirus.

The veterinarian who treated my dog was wonderful and very helpful. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk staff was extremely disappointing. After going back and forth over payment, I was told I owed nearly $800, then later told my balance was only about $60. I was never called or informed about any additional X-rays for today’s visit, yet I was told I had declined them. No explanation or apology was provided. Unfortunately, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this location.

Great staff, great doctors, and a free standing clinic rather than in a PetCo. That really makes all the difference.

Extremely rude manager!
The first time I called this location, the girl was very sweet and helpful! Put me on probably a five minute hold when I first called, I was calling to clarify a grade of heart murmur from another facility that doesn’t have vet records. Gave her the information needed, and she asked email or verbal and I said verbal. Very polite professional and helpful!
Unfortunately, had to call back to see if emailing the records was available since we couldn’t board. BUT a vet facility could. Manager seemed irritated from the moment she answered the phone. Mind you, I’m also a manager at my job and still am polite to people who call because it’s not anyone’s problem but mine when I’m having a bad day. It’s also part of the job. When I briefly explained the situation, she asked to repeat myself, I apologized and said I probably word vomitted at her! She just asked if the parent had the app. Parent had mentioned previous app issues and was currently on the phone. To spare us both time in the conversation, I asked if she was saying she was unable to email. Which would be totally fine, just was trying to prevent beating around the bush. To which she immediately got even impressively more rude, and said “ma’am. I’m not SAYING we can’t email. I’m asking if they have the app” I said I do understand that’s what she’s asking, and that the parent was currently on the phone and could ask her in a moment.
She then felt it necessary to say “you’re speaking to a manager” mind you- I’m ALSO a manager at my job and not being condescending! I’m all for returning energy given, I had been nothing but polite. I lightly giggled at how ridiculous she decided to be, especially in contrast to the awesome employee I had previously spoken to.
When I told parent she had to call them for records she asked why. I said that the manager currently working didn’t seem to be a fan of me for whatever reason despite having no problems with accessing the information 10 minutes prior. Parent replied how sometimes people think just because they’re a manager that they’re better than other people. To me, being kind, even when life gives you reasons not to be, makes someone a better person!
I’d say it was an off day, but looking at other reviews for this Banfield, it seems like this manager is pretty consistently rude to anyone that unfortunately crosses her path. I never feel inclined to leave negative reviews. Maybe another negative review about this managers attitude will have a supervisor have a serious conversation about regularly having an attitude.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
