I was bitten by a dog at this facility because the dog’s owner refused to restrain their jumping animal. When I asked for the dog's current vaccination records, management stonewalled me, claimed their cameras suddenly weren't working during the time of the incident. The company went as far as banning me for requesting an incident report about the injury but told me my dog could still attend the facility. Unsafe environment and deceptive management.

If your not a bully breed type dog, this is the place for you. Went there for about 1 1/2 years. All was mostly okay Let me preference that we are not the type of guardians that are immune from feedback and well aware that pup behavior can change and is sometimes different when packed in a room will other pups having the time of their lives. We learned that our pup was caged often which defeats the purpose of play time. The staff (not all) are not trained. When we'd wait for pick up, the amount of screaming that pierced through the door was beyond concerning. Dogs + screaming do not mix well. Anywhere, it all came to a head when we were called to pick up because ours may be having a bad day. No problem! We were told ours attacked another dog. Odd, but again, kept an open mind. No mention of the deep cut ours sustained or mention that the altercation took place with a deaf dog which cannot pick up on social cues. Asked for video because we wanted to see what transpired and help with addressing behavior redirects. Promised they would send it. You guessed it; that never happened.

Always a good experience taking my dog to be watched here. Staff is friendly, fair pricing, and my dog always comes back happy and exhausted!

Such a fantastic place and the staff is incredible. It was nice knowing our pup was well taken care of while at daycare, had a ton of fun and burned energy! This is the quietest he has been in a while and an immediate nap has been taken upon arriving home, all thanks to Playful Pack.

So glad I switched to Playful Pack Alexandria from another established dog daycare on Richmond Highway. The staff are so nice and really care for the dogs. You can tell they maintain a safe and fun environment, and you never hear them berating the dogs. At the last place we went to, I’d routinely come in to hear the staff screaming at the dogs. Playful Pack is also meticulously clean. It doesn’t reek, nor does my dog when we pick him up.
