  We have been buying the same dog food from petco for years. We have two dogs so we go though it regularly. After maybe half a bag we found MAGGETS in the food. I didn’t have food for my dogs yesterday and now get to deal with all this. I’m so sad my dogs might have been eating worms (maggets). Seriously so grossed out.

  Like 2 employees work here and it's near impossible to get help. I've come atleast once a week to get crickets for 2 months now and there's literally no crickets here everytime I get here insane. I've heard it before the heat wave is causing a shortage but literally every other pet store has them in stock except for this one.

  When I asked for the code or key, I was told the bathrooms “aren’t for public use” (the manager, John’s, policy?) even though there is no signage stating they are employee only. I’ve also noticed this at the other Petco locations and there doesn’t seem to be any explanation as to why this level of accessibility is being blocked. It actually seems like they just don’t want to clean them.

  Very unprofessional and unethical service. I brought my dog in for grooming, and when they returned him to me, they failed to tell me that his ears had been cut during the grooming. Once we got home, his ears started bleeding. The fact that they did not notify me about the injury is completely unacceptable. I should have been informed immediately about what happened so I could make sure my dog received proper care. Instead, I discovered the problem myself after getting home and had to spend additional money on veterinary visits to have his cuts treated. What is even more disappointing is that they took no responsibility for what happened. Accidents can happen, but hiding an injury from a pet owner and refusing to take responsibility is completely unacceptable. I would not trust this business with my dog again. Pet owners deserve transparency, accountability, and professionals who genuinely care about the animals in their care.

  I have been a loyal customer and always buy my dog’s food from you because I trust the quality of your products. Unfortunately, this has been a very frustrating experience. I have had to return the dog food three different times. The first bag was infested with weevils. The second bag smelled rancid and was clearly not safe to feed my dog. Today, I had to go back for a third time, but you no longer had the same size bag in stock. Instead, I had to purchase a smaller bag for about $67, even though it contains only about half as much food as the original bag I bought. I own a French Bulldog, and I always do my best to provide him with the highest-quality food I can afford. It is very disappointing to spend my time making multiple trips to the store and still end up paying more for less food because of issues that were completely outside of my control. I would appreciate it if you could review this situation and provide a fair solution. More importantly, I hope steps are taken to ensure the quality of your products so that other customers do not have to go through the same experience.
