  A man in the back pointed me in the direction of the pumpkin puree that I was looking for, which was nice. When I got to the register though, there was no one in sight. While waiting for what felt like 10 minutes without seeing any employee, I realized I needed crickets. I went back get some and there weren't any on the shelf. I went back up front and still waited a few minutes until someone came from the back. I remember a delivery truck outside when I walked into the store, probably not smart to have your only cashier signing for the delivery in the back. That or he was in the bathroom with no coverage. This store probably deals with a lot of theft.

  A couple months ago, i left all of my products at the checkout stand after 5 minutes of no cashier to assist. I was in the area again and gave them one more chance. Again no cashier and I had to go find one. I dont really think having a cashier available is asking too much. Avoid this location, they suck.

  Went in to buy a guniea pig cage, needed some questions answered looked all over the store to find no one. Empty in the front , Empty in the back but then I noticed all 3 workers in the back giving a cat a bath. I was unable to ask my question, unable to find what I needed . And if I were some criminal I could have left with merch. Do BETTER, HIRE BETTER SERVICE , OR KEEP SOMEONE ON THE FLOOR. I WILL never bring my money or business here again. Disappointed forsure.

  Love going for birds and the hamsters I got a hamster here and he was the most chill and cuddly guy ever rip teddy🕊️I plan on going back for another little guy and I’ve gotten 4 birds from here love them all really chill

  DO NOT take your dog to get groomed here. I have been getting my dog groomed at various Petco for 6 years now and VICTORIA the grooming manager at the west Salt Lake City location is EXTREMELY rude. I had a VIP scheduled through calm and refresh (the new options for Petco). She claimed I did not have vip booked and that my dog will be in the kennel no matter what even though I booked VIP. She then told me I am no longer welcome back at Petco because I called her out on the service and she refused to serve me. The worst customer service I have ever dealt with.
