- SKSandy KMay 12, 20264.0This particular store is relatively new and it feels much more like a boutique then a big box store because of its size and decor. We have dogs, cats, a bearded dragon, and fish. This is what I have found here based on what our needs are: Excellent selection of dog and cat food. Excellent selection of fish and fish supplies. Moderate selection of live reptile food. It comes in prepackaged containers which has resulted in mixed results by the time I've opened them. For example, I rarely get all live worms in a container. For this reason Petco is not my first choice for our bearded dragons food. Good selection of supplies however.

Despite a vet visit, they refuse to make amends after our dog was choked for over six hours. While he is thankfully okay, the unnecessary stress caused is simply not worth our time or our animal's well-being.

When I went to pick him up and he was breathing so heavy for being on the choker for so long the manager for the groomers is just awful if you care about your animals do not take them to the petco in Taylorville and the manager of the store is even worse then the manager for the groomers.I wish I could give them 0 stars....
