  After moving from out of state I’ve been continuously coming to this Petco location, in Saratoga Springs. I’ve self-washed my two small dogs, a Shih Itzu and a Lahsa Apso at Petco for as long as I owned them —16years at other Petco locations. The last 4 weekends I brought in my dogs for self wash, Their shampoo and conditioner dispensers were empty. So I’ve purchase a bottle of shampoo for that matter and have been bringing my own shampoo ever since. Today, I was expecting to get a break for self bath, given that the past times I’ve provided my own products, and other managers had been understanding and had given me a break; while I was paying at the register, the front desk attendant asked the MOD at 2 pm, Latan—- I believe is his name., was rude and with an attitude declined my asking for a break. I told them that this is the last time I do business with them and asked for today’s refund. Their loss!

  If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. This is the WORST of the worst. These animals are clearly neglected and lacking care. I’m from out of state and had to come in to grab some supplies for my dog and of course I like to stop and look at all the animals. The employees there lack knowledge and seem more interested in standing around gossiping about their fellow coworkers and it shows. The fish look unwell with dead fish in the tank that has not been removed. Birds wings looked overly clipped. Animals look underweight and overall depressed. I was appalled and immediately called corporate. Hopefully they come in and shut this place down or clean out the entire staff and hire actual qualified people who care about the wellbeing of animals. I’ve been to Petco many of times in my area and have never seen a location ran such as badly as this one. If you don’t have a passion for the care of living beings- maybe don’t work at a place where it’s a requirement.

  I met Alaina and she helped me with my 10 gal fish tank and answered all my questions. She was very informative and friendly

  They have amazing costumer service! The lady who helped us didn’t force us to buy anything and she helped us get the right stuff!!!
