We had a wonderful outcome to the unexpected illness of our beloved pet. I called Banfield when we determined our pet was seriously ill Monday just before closing. They gave us an early morning appt the very next morning. Tests were done and we were able to bring her home the same day with meds for a sudden pancreatic infection. Theyve called to check on her each day. They are the best veterinary service we’ve usrd!

I usually had good experiences at this clinic but I recently had an upsetting experience here during a medical event involving my dog. While my pet was being treated, I overheard staff making comments about my emotional reaction and discussing my facial expressions/body language in a judgmental way behind the door while I was in room. I am autistic, and I do not always express stress or interpret social situations the same way others might. Being calm or smiling nervously does not mean someone doesn’t care about their pet. The experience felt humiliating and unprofessional during an already stressful moment. I appreciate that my dog received care, but I left feeling deeply uncomfortable and judged during a situation that was already frightening for me. I just wanted to let the staff know that we can hear everything when we’re waiting in those rooms and to be please be kind. We as clients are at the vet because we care about our pets.

I would like to share my recent experience with Banfield Pet Hospital following my visit on April 14th.
While I want to start by acknowledging that the reception staff were kind, attentive, and professional during check-in, unfortunately, the overall service I received was disappointing.
I arrived at the clinic at 10:30 AM and completed all paperwork by 11:00 AM, at which point I left my dog in their care. I was informed that the appointment would take a few hours and that I could expect to pick him up between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. It is important to note that the visit was for routine vaccinations and a general check-up.
By nearly 5:00 PM, I had not received any communication from the clinic, so I called to follow up. During my first call, I was told they would check on my dog’s status, but the call was disconnected. I called again and spoke with another staff member, who after a few minutes informed me that my dog was ready for pickup. This was around 5:10 PM.
I arrived at the clinic at approximately 5:40 PM, only to wait an additional 20 minutes while other clients were being assisted. After this extended delay, my dog was finally returned to me. At that time, I was informed that the veterinarian was too busy to speak with me and that I would instead receive all details regarding my dog’s examination via email.
As of today, I have not received any follow-up communication—no email, no call, and no explanation regarding my dog’s condition or the medication that was prescribed, as indicated in the medical notes I was given.
Considering that I pay for a monthly plan of $60, the level of service I experienced does not meet expectations. The lack of communication, follow-up, and overall organization is concerning and disappointing. I allowed ample time for the clinic to reach out, but no effort was made.
This experience has left me feeling that there may be gaps in how patient records and follow-ups are managed. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve the level of care and communication provided to clients and their pets.

Everyone at this location is incredibly accommodating and helpful! My dogs vaccination visit was quick and the costs were explained to me before they happened so the total was not a surprise.

We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
