I've been a customer for over 10 years, and this experience was completely unacceptable. Your office constantly pushes customers to schedule appointments online, so that's exactly what I did. I live an hour away and was already halfway to my appointment when I got a phone call telling me you couldn't actually see my cat. By that point, I had no choice but to turn around, drive all the way back home, and drop my cat off. The entire ordeal made me late for work. What's the point of offering online scheduling if the appointments aren't accurate? Customers shouldn't have to pay for your scheduling mistakes with wasted time, gas, and missed work. If your online scheduling system isn't reliable, then stop allowing customers to book appointments through it until it's fixed. After being a loyal customer for more than a decade, I expected much better. My time is just as valuable as yours, and this experience showed a complete lack of respect for it. This was completely avoidable and should never have happened. To make matters worse, I was planning to enroll my newly adopted cat in another Wellness Plan, but after this experience I'm seriously reconsidering. Between my four pets and years of loyalty, I've invested a lot in your practice. If this is how long-time customers are treated, I'll be looking for a veterinary clinic that actually values my time, keeps its commitments, and cares about its clients as much as it expects them to care about their pets.

I pay them about $200/month for their wellness plan for 2 dogs. My puppy tore his duclaw. Did an appt online and get there and tell me I didn’t. Then the next day (today) they say they have mo appointments available but online it says they do! Worse place to take your dog to what a rip off!

Made an appointment online, drove 30 min. because online said they have availability when the banfield closest to me didn’t. My dog had an emergency that we had been waiting all weekend to see someone for; when I arrived for my schedule time they turned me away, telling me that their online scheduler was wrong. So livid. What a waste of time and resources on my end.

I’m grateful that they were able to resolve the issue and get my pet in quickly. However… our experience here was stressful and frustrating. We brought our dog in because he had a laceration on his ear. They immediately just told us to leave him there for the day, sign some papers saying they can do any intervention on him, and wait until the doctor can check him out. Scary and sad for us and our pet! But we didn’t want it to get infected and so we left him there as they suggested. There was no one that could talk through options and risks with us, and they were extremely cryptic and withholding when we asked about costs. The tech(?) who we met with had to defer EVERY question we asked, go to the back room and ask another assistant for the answer. We had the same exact experience when we called back to check on things and ask questions, they were not prepared to answer and had to say “ummmm one second let me ask” several times. After leaving our dog there and getting home we decided we wanted to go a less invasive direction if possible. We called back and asked if we could pick him up. They mentioned that they had already “started down the path” of putting him out for surgery. What does that mean? Can we get him off the path? I guess they had only given him a medication to make him a bit drowsy. After prodding, they told us the cost for his care up to that point would be $550 if we picked him up. We were told that the entire cost after surgery would be just over $600. So the surgery only costs 50?? Trying to make sense of it. Since we had already signed our life away, so to speak, we decided to go forward with the surgery. It all just felt like a money pit and I wasn’t totally convinced they had the welfare of my dog or addressing our concerns first in mind. Ultimately they fixed up his ear, and the nurse that gave me his meds and instructions was kind and thorough. After the racket it is looking like a positive outcome for our pup.
