  I just wanted to say thank you to the amazing staff at Petco tonight. They officially closed at 9:00 p.m., and although the doors were already locked, there were still customers finishing up inside. We arrived just after closing because I had just gotten off work, and my lizards didn’t have any food for the night. Devon came to the door, asked what we needed, and instead of simply telling us they were closed, he kindly let us in so I could quickly grab a couple containers of superworms. That small act of kindness meant so much to me. He was incredibly friendly, understanding, and genuinely cared. Then Luke checked us out, and he was just as wonderful. He was funny, kind, and even walked us out afterward. The customer service from both of them was truly exceptional. It’s so refreshing to see employees who still go above and beyond for their customers. Acts of kindness like this are something people remember, and they turned what could have been a stressful evening into a great experience. Petco is very lucky to have employees like Devon and Luke. They absolutely deserve recognition—and honestly, they deserve a raise! Thank you both for your kindness. It made my day, and my lizards were very happy too!

  Came here to get food and toys for my little Chihuahua named Phyllis she had a grand time and yapped at the Beautiful birds and wanted to eat the little fishies. All the workers loved her she felt so loved

  This is the 3rd time my grooming appointment has been moved/cancelled. While I can understand staffing issues, I set these appointments 2 months in advance on a specific day for a reason. It is when I am available to bring my dogs in. I should not be shuffled around or be asked to move my appointment if it has been scheduled out so far in advance. Now this appointment was completely cancelled and there isn't an opening until a month out? I will be taking my dog to west valley petco to redeem my "free" 8th cut and then finding somewhere else to groom my dogs that will keep the appointments we make. Not to mention that West Valley Petco informed us that now the 8th "free" groom is no longer free and only covers $81 of the total charge. I understand this is a corporate decision but still WILD to me that it's advertised as free. Even when it was "free" you still paid the $15 for supplies and equipment. It was nice when it covered the wash and cut but now it doesn't even do that.

  DO NOT EVER TAKE ANY ADVICE FROM ANY EMPLOYEE!! We made the biggest mistake of taking advice from an employee and now our fish is dead. Petco was only willing to do a return for the chemical that was recommended by the employee. They refused to replace our fish, even though THEIR EMPLOYEE CAUSED ITS DEATH!!

  I booked an appointment online with their dog trainer more than 2 weeks in advance. I got reminder texts of my appointment, and when we showed up, they told us their dog trainer no longer worked there. So I paid $200+ online for a service they were not providing, got multiple reminder texts, planned for multiple weekends, and when we showed up, we were just told sorry, that’s not a service we are providing right now. We were told a refund would be processed, but no further resolution given. Very frustrated with the service. @Petco - I’d strongly suggest you remove that from your website since it’s not a service you can even provide.
