  Kyle was really nice at the cashier and made my visit a good experience. They were friendly, easy to talk to, and had a positive attitude.

  This is just for the grooming department. Sara(h) the supposed manager lacks the leadership skills to communicate to her team. Upon calling to schedule an appointment I was very transparent that I had adopted a puppy, but would be changing her name. The person I booked with said no problem bring their rabies documentation and I’ll get that booked. Fast forward two day: arrival to appointment. Sara(h) checks me in and says they can’t take my pup. Says I will need to reschedule instead of giving me Vetco’s number WHO IS ASSOCIATED with Petco’s number. She also decided to almost racial discriminate by saying how do I know, “you own this dog” After rescheduling, she continue to say I’m sure you talked with someone new who doesn’t know the protocols, or rules. Coming from decades of manager customer service. You shouldn’t have someone answering phones and questions if they aren’t comfortable regardless is the department is busy. As a manager Sara(h) should have given me the number and still taken my dog back so I could make the 5 min conversation *especially since I arrived 10 mins early* My advice is someone needs to retrain her, and give her some leadership lessons, and she needs to hold her team accountable. Because these nonsense excuses and lies of “I’m sure you chatted with someone new” is a lame excuse to try and avoid confrontation. Petco how are you going to make this right for me.

  First of all shout out to Elizabeth on the puppy playtime! Super helpful, informative, friendly and overall great. The store is pretty stocked up and clean. They have a neat setup for the fish. The prices are standard but their return policy is amazing! For dogs, they got lots of clothing, food (wet, dry & toppers/broth), supplements, supplies, toys and so on! Staff is friendly half the time. Location sucks but that goes for all the stores in this area. Just ranting but who puts that many shops right off a major freeway exit!? Stupid design on the city lol.
