  I have only visited this location twice, and after my horrible experience this past Sunday, I will not return. I went in to purchase a single Tiger Barb to replace one in my tank. The first employee I encountered was incredibly sweet and offered to find me assistance while he finished cleaning. Unfortunately, the person who came to help—whose nametag read Schade—was the exact opposite. He was rude, unprofessional, and highly condescending. While I understand staff may be trained to ask about tank sizes, customers are not required to share that information, and I found his line of questioning intrusive. I repeatedly pointed out the fish I wanted, but he resisted, eventually telling me he needed to know the fish was "going to a good home" before selling it to me. I do not appreciate being gatekept or interrogated over a simple purchase. Further his rude comment to call me 'testy" because I did not want to engage and simply wanted to make a purchase was completely out of line and uncalled for! He aggressively interrogated me about my tank size and setup. Customer service here is intrusive and unprofessional. The assumption that people are illiterate and can't read the information clearly printed about the fish and best conditions for them clearly printed on the tank is ignorant. The assumption that every customer is a novice rather than an educated enthusiastic who is more than capable of knowing what they entered the store to purchase shows an inflated self concept of himself and lack of awareness and even bias towards your customers. Avoid this location!

  10/10 experience! Loved every one here! They all were so pleasant and helpful! Sarah, Tanisha, and Dr.Ramirez went ABOVE AND BEYOND & exceeded my expectations here at the Vetco center in this Petco; they are all truly angels. They made me feel comfortable with my pet concerns and took the extra mile to inform me and help me with my fur baby, thank you thank you and thank you! I would definitely recommend this location to anyone! Perfect experience and extremely clean!

  I got a rescue pup and have been taking her to see the vet at Petco. For the last 3 and a 1 years, I love the people at this pet coast store. They all love my little puppy. Now that she's grown 3 years old, they love her just as much they all are friendly. They are considerate, they do the best that they can. I even took training classes because I didn't know how to deal with a puppy.But I learned from them, this store is wonderful.

  The staff were super kind, my senior dog had a super sensitive tummy his last year, they helped me find an alternative for treats and probiotics. Unfortunately, he passed away before we could use what we bought, but their return policy was very accommodating.
