  If there were a way to place negative stars I absolutely would. Never again will my dog come back to this place. And yes I get it this is what I get for coming to this place for a grooming. But our dog was miserable in his coat waiting on his normal groomer to have an opening. I dropped my family dog off with the added notes, that the groomer asked for, that he had a tendency to try to lick the clippers when you trim his feet. I dropped him off and almost 4 hours later I'm walking in to see if he is done yet. That's when I get a call, as I'm walking to the counter. The young lady then proceeds to tell me that she couldn't complete his grooming because he was growling and biting. I thought she was joking, my family dog that has never been aggressive and has been getting groomed since he was 6 months old, growling and biting... She then says yeah I couldn't finish with his head and paws. I replied with um okay, I'll go use the restroom and then grab him. When I returned is when I see the train wreck of a coat this butcher has left my dog with. Her only response was yeah maybe go back to his normal groomer so he's more comfortable. As you can see in the photos, 4 hours for a hatchet job of cutting that clearly took about 5 min. No call during, no hey sorry we can't complete this grooming, just 4 hours of him sitting there after this lady destroyed his coat and then blamed a NEVER before seen character. And obviously she stated she couldnt complete his head and paws, this chick didn't even start! Once again, never will I utilize this company! Beware, if he was acting that way it would be a very first and that would then lead me to ask in what manner where you treating this dog that is around groomers every few months, infants, children and other animals to act that way? Or were you simply too lazy, unqualified and lack the ability to admit when you were out of your comfort zone. Maybe next time stick with trimming nails and the front counter.

  My daughter took one of our twin poodle puppies to this location for grooming. My dog look horrendous. They called her and said he was nipping at the clippers and not being cooperative and made her come and pick him up. This is not the first time he has been to petco grooming but it is the first time he’s been at THIS location. My dog was terrified and shaking. We usually take him to the petco in Mesquite and use Brandy as our dogs love her. I am very disappointed in the way my child and dog were treated.
