  I will be switching Vets after this appointment today! Today I went for my dogs yearly shots; everything went well. Tomorrow marks the 1 year we were there last year. I paid during last years visit for something extra-a fecal testing with their package deal offer. Blah blah. They make such a fuss that returning that little tube has to be fresh on the same day but their not always open everyday. If the brodie location is open today- probably mean the Hwy 71 Oak hill location isn't, etc.. Not everyone has the time to watch their dog go to the bathroom and wait for them to 💩 and turn around drive to the vet in those few hours. I bring it up today and ask since tomorrow is my expired year appt; if I could make time today to drop it off if I could. The lady tells me she asked a manger and it's NOT covered anymore. How?!?! If it's still within a year? She said "really it expires after 3months." ?!?!??! I told her that was never said to me. And that's very crooked of them to tell people you have a year of this paid for service but truly it means 3months ! That's wild to me and extremely crooked of them. This will be the last time I use Vetco and will take advice from friends when they said they stopped using them too. I don't mind Petco for his grooming still; but no need to use Vetco.

  I had an incredible experience here today with Dr Curtis and her team! The clinic was extremely clean, the techs were professional and accommodating to what I was requesting for my dog today! The environment was very calm and promoted fear free treatment! The vet was thorough with her exam, and provided guidance on timelines for testing results and recommended testing etc. I was also able to be seen same day! My appointment was exactly on time and the entire team was efficient and thoughtful. Will absolutely go back should I need any additional care in the future!

  Had a really wonderful experience here! My dog is usually pretty stressed at the vet so going is always stressful for me, but everyone was very calm and friendly. My dog ended up being too stressed initially but my tech and Dr. Curtis were so patient with us and I appreciate that she offered us anxiety medications instead of forcing it and stressing us out more. We ended up rescheduling and trying again on the meds and it went so well! So appreciative for a lower stress approach and how kind everyone was. Will definitely be back and recommending to friends!

  I brought my dog, Jasper, in because he had a painful scrotal wound and had been whining constantly. Within a few minutes, I was told the veterinarian/Dr. Lara Curtis couldn’t complete the exam because he was too painful and reactive. I understand that staff safety is important, but I was left without a diagnosis or treatment plan. Instead, vet never came to speak with me rather the technician gave me gabapentin and trazodone, recommended antiseptic wipes despite no diagnosis, and I was instructed to come back the following day. My biggest frustration was the lack of communication, urgency, and any direct interaction with the veterinarian/Lara. Everything was relayed through the technician, and I never had the opportunity to discuss Jasper’s condition or the treatment plan with the doctor/Dr. Lara Curtis. I was not offered a same-day appointment after the medication had time to take effect, which unnecessarily delayed his care. I sought care elsewhere 2 hours later that same day. Jasper was successfully examined, diagnosed with a skin infection, and started on treatment immediately. There was no need to delay the start of his recovery. If your clinic requires painful dogs to be pre-medicated before they can be examined, that should be communicated when the appointment is scheduled. It would save owners time, reduce stress for pets that are already in pain, and avoid delaying treatment.
