My son took his cat for care here. We’re appreciative of the medical staff. However, the front desk girl was rude not only to my son but to another patient over the ph. I understand people have bad days but that energy needs to be reevaluated when working in customer service.

Dr. Candice Zapalac-Janecka not only took amazing care of my puppy. But gave me several recommendations to also help, and offered an allergist referral too. I have a friend who’s been having horrible allergy problems with her dog and has been begging for a referral and still hasn’t gotten one. She not only helped, went above and beyond, and gave us the resources for future problems. TY!

If I could give less stars I would. Had my cat on a wellness plan for 9.5 yrs before anything medically serious happened. Upgraded her plan to senior and a week later she was euthanized. I learned upon cancelling, that I was still financially responsible for the medical bills. What the hell is pet insurance for then? I paid the plan monthly for 9yrs and you’re telling me that wasn’t enough funds to cover the last 1k from her last medical bills!? Absolute BS. I will never bring my animals back to Bansfield. IT IS A SCAM.

I had an appointment today at 10am, and received a call 5 minutes before, when I was outside parking, to cancel it. This hospital is the worst, no wonder why they have 3 stars in Google!

The front desk staff was exceptionally friendly. The vet techs were also so warm and comforting (Taylor especially). We came in on Sunday and learned our dog had pancreatitis. We ran all the tests and decided to run fluids and the Panoquil meds, along w the cerania. The vet told us that she is prescribing 3 doses of the Paniquil. But she only works on Sunday and that we could come in for a second dose on Monday if our dog was not improving and then for a 3rd on tue. We were informed that we can do a “poke and go” if symptoms persist on Monday, but w a different doctor. I called Monday to schedule said “poke and go” and was told it would be approx $175. I found that to be reasonable. I came
In and was told that I needed to do another full exam because it was a different doctor and she would not administer the prescribed second dose from the day prior. I explained what had been communicated to
Me twice by your staff and asked if the exam fee could be waived given I had just had a full exam from a dr in your group less than 24 hours prior - and was cleared for the 3 doses. The vet said no. The vet tech did a lovely job handling this awkward situation, I was calm but disappointed, and she was wonderful. The vet and the business decision, on the other hand just lost you a customer. I spent over $1000 the day prior, got all the tests, got the prescription, was trying to fill the Rx and we got stopped up what felt like an attempt to literally pinch every penny out of a situation. I was disappointed today to say the least and walked out without the 2nd dose and will not return to your clinic. You lost a valuable customer. My dog ended up being fine after one dose, so I didn’t need it anyway, but wanted you to know how it felt as a customer. You have a kind staff, but lack understanding and cohesiveness among your doctors, which makes for a horrible user experience. Will not be returning unless an attempt to make it right is made. Thanks for listening.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
