- ALAudrey LieberAug 19, 20261.0On the phone call the day before my appointment, I was told my cat only needed the booster for his FVRCP Vaccine, and since I had no concerns it would be a quick turn around appointment. Upon arriving, I was told I would have to pay for a physical exam. I explained how on the phone they told me that since I had no concerns about my cat, they would give him the shot only, and an exam was never mentioned. They then told me that since I came into the office I have to get the exam, and it is required by Banfield. I asked why was I not made aware of this, to which they said it doesn’t matter and it is required. My cat ended up getting the shot and the exam that took 2 minutes and was the exact same as the one he got 2 weeks ago.

Unfortunately,She passed away last night. What kind of system u have to set appointment then don’t honor them but throw them to side this isn’t a er it’s a hospital? Thanks a lot.

We believe that preventive care is the most effective way to keep your pet healthy throughout all stages of life. Our pet hospitals offer many preventive care treatments, including:

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
