I was happy to pay extra for the convenience, expecting the service to help me out when I was short on time. However, once the delivery window had already started (between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM), I received an email stating that my order could not be delivered today. To make matters worse, I had opted in to receive delivery updates by text message, but the notification came only by email. The result is that I paid more for same-day delivery and still have to go to another store to purchase the item myself. It's frustrating to pay for a premium service that ultimately was not provided. Why offer a same-day delivery service if you cannot reliably fulfill it? This experience was disappointing and defeats the purpose of paying extra for convenience. To be fair, the order was eventually delivered about 20 minutes ago, so it did arrive the same day. I appreciate that the delivery was ultimately completed. My frustration is really with the communication and the inaccurate notification, which caused unnecessary inconvenience and led me to make alternative arrangements.
