They treat my pet with the utmost care as if he was their own. I totally appreciate that because that’s what I look for in people that provide services to our pets. - CTChelsea TalaveraJul 28, 20261.0Had been coming here for a while since the location was convenient, but after having my kittens neuter procedure done at this location, I do not trust the staff to be honest with me about what my pets need. Since I've had my kittens, they've told me dozens of times in the countless visits I brought them for their vaccines (which was another pattern that made me very upset- completely disorganized) that my cats have a harmless genetic issue that will affect the neuter process. I had no idea that this genetic issue would cost me an additional $600 each until the morning I dropped them off for their procedure. Of all the staff and doctors that I've encountered in the last 3 months of visits, not a single one warned me that this charge was coming. They also failed to mention that I would need to bring an second carrier for the cats after the surgeries until the same morning. The whole point of covering them with the OWP was to include the cost of the neuter. They lock you into a contract and can't even deliver, or at least be straight forward about charges that aren't included. We'll be switching our primary Banfield to another location. Then, after the year is up, we'll be dropping the OWP for better care elsewhere.

- SBSharon BennettMay 7, 20264.0I like Banfield a lot. The only drawback is it is not insurance so meds and procedures not covered can be costly. The people at the Forum location in Selma, TX, treat my dog like he is a king and my dog just eats that up.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
