  Keilyn and Alex have been amazing during my training sessions! When I first started i was only able to do 2 or 3 sessions before my dog hurt himself. I got in contact with them and told them my situation and they were completely understandable! Once he was clear to go back to working mode we jump right back into training! I own horses and i have had an issue with my dog running and nipping at there legs (how he got hurt) but being a shepherd and all, didnt phase him. Alex help me with that in one session, even came out to where I keep my horses to assess and work through the problem. Keilyns been amzing with manners and getting him to not antagonize a fight! I only a few sessions left, but im coming back with my next dog for sure!

  I am providing another review under a different account only because I wanted to add my experience with other trainers. I could not figure out how to edit my previous. ********************************************* My experience with everything about Bellum K9 Inc. from day 1 has been phenomenal. My family has specific requirements when it comes to a dog in our home. We have 2 disabled small children in my home. The dog we got came with over the top puppy behavior. I sought professional dog training to correct the many issues we were experiencing. We have started to work with Alex to perfect technique, fine tune and train advance commands. He as well as the rest of this team have been AMAZING and patient with my family. They have empowered me when I was at my wits end with training and not getting results at that moment. But after fine tuning and exploring things that will work for our family and life style things have made a complete change. She is a great obedient dog. She is becoming a great family dog and eventually will become a service dog. I am forever thankful for this Dog Training company. They are very professional and extremely knowledgeable in their field.

  Excellent experience. Worth the price. You will get what you pay for, and you will get out what you put in. These trainers have years of experience training working/service/military dogs - professional experience and accomplishments that back up their methods. This translates over to family dogs, so this is suitable for anyone, not just those with working dogs. At intake, they ask us about our goals and tailor the training accordingly. Trainers are respectful, easy going, professional. Lessons focus on training US as owners, and we can take that home and reinforce it with our puppy. We leave each lesson feeling accomplished, encouraged, and confident. We see consistent improvements. Lessons are easy to schedule. Facility is a little out of the way, but it is well equipped, clean, and welcoming. Worth the travel time. There is online content available and all of our lessons are recorded, AI notes generated, and available online.

  Worst experience. A year ago I signed up with the Jones road location. I told them I couldn't do the training on weekdays and he said no problem we work weekends. Then I pay the nonrefundable $1500 and after one session all of a sudden he doesn't work weekends. Now they don't answer my phone calls or emails. It's a shame that a veteran would steal from people like this. -update I guess 3 emails and numerous phone calls, none of which were responded to, are considered not reaching out.

  I sought Bellum K9 due to the extensive K9 training Shane acquired during his time in the service. I researched his website and was impressed by how he handles himself and his business. You can tell his love for dogs, proper dog training and empowering dog owners to become the confident dog trainer/owner their dog deserves. I have 4 children 2 of which are completely blind. When our family dog passed away there was only a short time before our kiddos wanted another companion to play with. Due to our family having 2 young blind kiddos, our next dog needed to have certain requirements. We adopted a puppy, the puppy was wild and crazy. Overboard in my opinion. I tried researching and trying all kinds of dog training on my own from google and YouTube. Nothing worked. I needed professional help. Bellum K9 has been beyond amazing to me on my dog training journey. Our pup Bella went from not listening, me having zero control over her to nailing Shane’s obedience tests. She listens, obeys commands and has shown tremendous progress. I owe it all to Shane and Keilyn’s patience with myself and with Bella. They gave me tools to utilize in my special family home and I couldn’t be more thankful. Bella is still not done with training so I am excited to see what she can do with our future training sessions. If you are thinking about giving Bellum K9 a shot - I HIGHLY recommend you do. You won’t be disappointed by their wealth of knowledge they pass onto you. Emery Cruz
