- EDeric debrisOct 5, 20261.0I have 3 cats and I was very happy with the hospital for years. Now everything seems to fell apart, the friendly staff is gone. The two doctors I was very happy with are gone too. One of my cats has been sick for months after one of the doctor refused to follow the diagnostic of the other doctor. On top of that he website is a mess and absolutely useless.
- GHGray HydeAug 1, 20261.0We took our GSD in for wellness check up and she came home with kennel cough. She has not been exposed in any other way to have contracted it but at Banfield San Marcos. My older GSD caught it and has had difficulties in getting over it. My wife called at 9:30 this morning to speak with the Vet and as of 4:30 we have not received a callback. I called in and the lady answering the phone who said she was “the” supervisor was condescending and outright rude with her excuses as to why we couldn’t speak with the vet. We have spent too much money with this company to not receive a reasonable consideration for a 5 min phone conversation. As everyone loves their pets this location lacks the staff that is empathetic and truly cares for pets. I will no longer be paying for poor inadequate care of my girls !

They talked to her, loved on her, and made her feel comfortable throughout the visit. What stood out to me was how much they genuinely seemed to care. It never felt like they were just moving through another appointment. They treated Noelle like she mattered. The veterinarian was extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful about our situation. She took the time to explain everything clearly and answer my questions without making me feel rushed. I left feeling like Noelle received excellent care from people who truly love animals.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
