Had an amazing experience at Vetco in San Antonio with my small dog. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in. They treated my little dog with so much care, patience, and kindness, which meant a lot to me as a pet owner. The process was also very quick and efficient we were in and out without feeling rushed, and everything was handled professionally. It’s hard to find a place that combines speed, compassion, and great customer service, but Vetco definitely delivered. Highly recommend to anyone looking for excellent care for their pets!
My service was extremely friendly. Answered all my questions made me and my dog feel very welcomed. The facility is clean and very well maintained. I got my dogs nails trimmed and got his shots, all done in a timely manner.

First time bringing my fur baby and we loved it! She loved all the treats and cuddles. The doctor was incredibly informative and very reassuring. Nurse Laurie was absolutely wonderful. She went above and beyond for us and still showed my pittie girl comfort after her shots and stool samples which made my fur baby extremely uncomfortable for a while. My only negative feedback would be towards the receptionist. Upon arrival we were not greeted which left an awkward silence. I initiated the conversation to say we were there for an appointment. Our medical records were not asked about before being sent to the back which cause nurse Laurie to have to step back out of the room to make those copies. Overall first time there was awesome. And also not to mention they take CareCredit!!!

I have come to this clinic for years and all the vets are great but Dr. Richard is the best. All the techs are great and they have patience with me even when I feel I’m overreacting.

. On Friday our Frenchie was walking slowly and wasn’t eating . We made an appointment with Vetco the next day. On Saturday. He told Dr Richard he was worse ; he couldn’t squat to poop and couldn’t lift his leg to pee. Dr Richard briefly examined our dog and did an x ray . We were given gabapentin for back pain and told to come back in 10 days. We weren’t referred to a neurologist, we weren’t given muscle relaxers and anti inflammatories. 6 hours later , his our Frenchie’s rear legs became paralyzed . He was in deep distress panting heavily all night. On Sunday, Petfolk referred us to College Station Small animal hospital for back surgery. Surgery wasn’t done until Monday, Our dog died 3 days later.
