  This review is specifically about my most recent visit. I’ve taken my dog to this Petco for grooming a few times, and I’ve also used grooming services at several other Petco locations. I’ve never had any issues before. In fact, I’ve always received excellent service at every other Petco I’ve visited. Unfortunately, this experience was completely different. I hate leaving negative reviews, but I genuinely feel this one is warranted. Before speaking with me, I overheard the groomer (Ebony) and another employee discussing how they had overbooked appointments and wouldn’t be able to complete someone’s grooming service. Shortly after, I was told they couldn’t complete my dog’s service because of her behavior. This didn’t make sense to me. My dog has been professionally groomed many times, including at other Petco locations, and I’ve even recorded videos of her during previous appointments. She has always been calm, comfortable, and well-behaved. She’s an adult dog, so this isn’t a case of new or unpredictable behavior. The only thing she occasionally does is urinate when she’s nervous, which I’ve seen happen with plenty of other dogs before grooming. Somehow, on this visit, that suddenly became a reason not to complete her appointment. What made the situation even more frustrating was that the explanations kept changing. Every time I addressed one reason they gave, they came up with another. It honestly felt like they were trying to justify not completing the service rather than being honest about the fact that they had overbooked. To make matters worse, the stylist went to speak with what I assume was a supervisor, and then they both began telling the cashier things about my dog that simply aren’t true. Hearing employees discuss and exaggerate my dog’s behavior was incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. I left feeling frustrated, disappointed, and like I wasn’t being treated honestly. If the salon was overbooked, I would have appreciated transparency instead of feeling like my dog was being unfairly labeled to justify canceling her appointment. I won’t be returning to this location. I’d rather drive farther to another Petco, where I’ve consistently had positive experiences, than deal with this team again. *The pictures I have included are from a previous service*

  The team at Petco always does a great job with my fur babies! We walked in and they took care of Suzi’s nails quickly and efficiently!!

  My baby went in a little matted for her first ever groom but ebony took GREAT care of her! Thank you guys, will return.

  Overall they did okay. The young lady who checked us in was great and very kind. I did make sure I told tell them I did not want a certain part of my dogs fur cut and they ignored it because when they “blow dried it and her hair was all over the place” it was just the long hair at the tip of my dogs ears. I told them to leave it because I loved it. Her snout was cut a little choppy and it didn’t blend in well but other than that they did good
