Made sure to show up early and bring documentation of all the vaccines from our vets office but was told once I got there that I could only get one of my dogs groomed and the other one did not have the proper documentation even though they both go to the same vet for annual shots together every time and the vaccine history papers are identical for both of them. Completely illogical. It would have made more sense if they said it didn’t suffice for both of them. The girls name I checked in with was Alexis and she obviously doesn’t have any common sense and only said, sorry I can’t take this for one of the dogs. No explanation as to how one could get groomed and not the other when they got their rabies shot at the same time. Horrible customer service with an indifferent attitude and extremely unhelpful. Maybe Petco can specify before you show up that the documentation cannot be handwritten and signed directly from the vet clinic with the vet’s header and contact listing the date and vaccines given. Apparently that is good enough for one but not the other. Weird interaction. I will never go back, just giving a warning to anybody who plans on booking with this Petco’s grooming department.
