  We purchased a bird from here and a cashier of the name, Michelle looked as if she didnt want to be there. When we asked if the bird was male she picked up the box that held our new bird, had vexed look on her face as she looked at the top of the box and callously handled our bird as she dropped the box back on top of the counter. Throughout the entire interaction she seemed as if our mere presence annoyed her. When we called her demeanor out to her attention she became aggressive. Susana the alleged assistant manager was standing by doing nothing as of this unfolded and acted as if she wasnt rude to my daughter while she picked out her bird. Susana is usually the employee I avoid when I come here due to her attitude from previous trips to this store but this one took the cake. I am unsure if "management" is making a harsh environment for their employees or the employees are making management look bad, but everyone looks and acts miserable. Either way, I worry how the animals and fish are treated when no one is looking.

  We came to Petco looking for a robo dwarf hamster for my child, and we found exactly what we were looking for! 🐹💕 The sales associate was very helpful and took the time to guide us through everything we needed to know. We were already prepared at home with a beautiful setup for our child’s new little pet, so we didn’t need any accessories and simply purchased the hamster. We really appreciated the helpful service and welcoming experience. My child is so excited about their new little furry friend! 🐹🥰

  I included my dog's disability needs on the intake form and it was discussed at check in that he cannot put full weight on his bad front leg and that he requires a second person to hold him up during nail trimming. I watched as the second person did stand next to him with one hand under his belly and the other petting his head. He is 45 lbs so she could not have held his full weight with one hand while bending to look at his face and pet him. So then I watched as his bad leg was collapsing as he tried to keep standing but was not able to. No care was taken despite his obvious pain. This issue is well documented with this grooming location as he has been there many times over several years. If accommodations for a disabled dog cannot be met then that should have been clearly communicated with me so I didn't put him through that. This was blatant absolute lack of care and regard for my dog. (This review does not reflect on groomer Alana)

  I brought my dog, Vader here yesterday. There is a PetCo less than 3min from my house but my DIL grabbed last 2 appt slots for her dogs. This one is about 25min away from me. And the experience at these facilities were totally different. Grooming hours are from 8am and rest of store opens at 9am. Here, they have a doorbell so they know to come let you in. (Other place we were waiting for 10min before lady came out) doesnt seem like long time unkess you have another dog with appt to take to another place. Here, lady was cheerful, great vibe, Vader felt calm even though it was a new place for him. Checked him in,asked to use either eucalyptus or tea tree shampoo for him so he can smell good. No issues. At pick up he was happy, seemed happy with them. Talked around store for shirt and treats. Other place total opposite, DIL had to go in the back to get her dogs out of cages..they were crying and shaking. Other things happened at other place but wont get into it. Needless to say, this will be Vader's new place to get groomed. Listen to your pets. They did a wonderful job with him. Also, she pre- booked the next appt for me, which i did appreciate, even if I may need to reschedule it, I can put in my calendar and not forget or stress about getting him in. Thanks for taking the initiative and helping me not forget!
