    My boyfriend and I visited the 2429 Stone Oak Petco on May 12th. We were in need of assistance in gradually transitioning my Australia Shepherd dog’s food. We were torn between three different brands. I had my puppy on Orijen, and he absolutely adores it. However, I was unsure whether I should switch to the same brand for my Australian Shepherd or consider another option like Acana and Wellness Core Plus. I had approached a worker named Denise for help. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the dog food options between these three brands. She recommended Orijen and Acana for my dog. I had already been impressed by Orijen’s clean ingredients and their positive impact on my puppy’s fur and skin. We decided to go with Orijen. However, I had another question regarding her recommendation for my two-year-old Australian Shepherd. We flipped the bags she had shown me, and she explained the difference between Orijen’s Amazing Grains and grain-free options. She made a valid point, emphasizing that certain grains are not inherently harmful, and I wholeheartedly agreed. Ultimately, we chose Orijen’s Amazing Grains.I truly appreciate the time Denise dedicated to assisting my boyfriend and me. Her efforts were truly remarkable. I always value this level of customer service.

    Showed up early at about 3:11pm for my 3:30pm grooming appointment for our dog. There’s a young lady (Petco Worker) checking in a customer in front of me and young man sitting on a chair (Petco worker). The customer in front of me seemed not to be able to proof of vaccination. So she moved to side to allow them to check me in. The young states she can’t check me because Rain is my groomer and I have to wait for her to get back from lunch at 3:30. Puzzled I wait and watch her go groom another dog and the young man who was sitting on the chair now starts to check in the lady that couldn’t find proof of vaccination. Now I’m really confused because how is he checking in the lady that the first young lady was checking in. So I wait about 5 more minutes when I young walks from the back and I ask her can you a question she puts her finger up and tells me to wait, so she can go put her Whataburger cup down. She comes back out to check me in and I ask to speak to the manager she states she is the grooming manager and her name is Rain. So I address my concern and confusion with Rain about their policy, not being able to check my dog in when I arrive. She states it’s their policy and if you show up early you have to wait on your groomer. I ask how is this relayed to customers that call and make appointments and asked her where is this policy in writing, she could NOT tell me. So proceed to tell I’m prior military and on time is late and early is on time, she said “THIS AIN’T THE MILITARY” all while my wife is on the phone listening to her tone and tells me not to leave our dog because she doesn’t like her TONE towards me so questions how she would treat out dog. I ask to speak to the store manager. Edward comes out to speak to me about the policy and also could only tell me it’s on their website, I said so when I call to make an appointment how is the policy relayed to customers? He stated it’s not relayed to customers and it’s rare they can check in appointments early. He wasn’t rude but had no solution as to how to inform customers of this “Policy” and said he would discuss it with his management. When I told him about Rain’s tone and rude comment he didn’t seem surprised but said he would address the matter. We will never shop at this Petco again and may never shop at any Petco again. Rain needs customer service training to have the title manager. You should never book Rain to groom your pet never know how she is treating them.

    Close to the worst petco I've ever been to, rude employees and managers. Fish are dead in the tanks and they look at you like you are dumb when you ask about it. Won't ever go here again. I'd rather deive to a different store than spend money here.
