I accompanied my partner for the first time to this vet. To say I was left nearly speechless at the lack of professionalism or compassion from the vet specifically (front desk is great) is not an understatement. This is not the first time - just the first time I was present. While we waited to be taken to a room - a full hour after our appointment time to wait more - I heard someone on the phone with a customer say “at the end of the day this is a business”. Well, at the end of the day we are customers paying for pet care. Not your judgment, not your passive-aggressive chatting to our dog about how terrible he looks in front of us, and certainly not your condescension toward our questions when we are paying you as a professional to educate us on his care and best practices for home. Not sure if it’s racism, elitism… who knows. But it’s certainly not appropriate, pleasant, or acceptable behavior toward caring pet owners trying to learn. We reserve a certain leniency for vets as sometimes they are just animal people vs people people. That was not the case here. This was just plain rude and supercilious. It’s really unfortunate because they have been effective in their care plans in the past. While he has relayed these experiences before, he wanted to return for the cost-effectiveness. To me, the savings isn’t worth the lack of consideration or general humanity. Should we ever return, we will only consider seeing Dr. Guevara.

I could have given 5 stars because of the service I always get there by staff , Dr Guevara and Dr Evans, but this time sadly I had to have my dog put to sleep, the lady assisting with the euthanasia was most unpleasant, insensitive and inpatient , she should not assist anyone during this difficult time , it is painful enough as to have someone with no empathy or even respect, especially when you've already spent a good amount of money trying to save them I would have preferred Callaghan road hospital cremate his body but that employee rushing me I didn't have time to think. She should work in a much different environment than at a veterinary hospital

The doctors and staff here are patient and kind. Dr. Evans clearly explained what was going on with my cat's health and provided helpful information and options to help my cat feel better and get healthy.
