I have a dog on heart medication, they called me 6 days before he was needing a refill that is a subscription from chewy, to tell me they need to see my dog before refilling the prescription which i understand, but it takes 3 to 5 days to get the medication and I cant leave work with one day notice. They told me well we did our part we texted you a month ago. I pulled up the text and it only says he is due for check up...nothing about denying a life saving refill. Not having the medication could kill my dog, and he just kept repeating "we did our part"

We picked up the prescription for calming medication for our dogs so they will be dozing during the loud fireworks on the 4th, which poison the air and earth and terroizes the animals. Keep your pets safe inside so they won't bolt when the racket begins.

It allowed us to schedule an appointment for today, and we drove to Banfield only to be told that there were system issues with the scheduling program and that we would need to make another appointment. As a result, we spent time and gas driving to the clinic for an appointment that could not be honored. Technology is supposed to make things easier for customers, not create additional inconvenience. I understand that technical issues happen, but there should be a process in place to notify customers before they arrive. I hope this issue is resolved so others don’t have the same experience. If the program is not working, disable it until it has been fixed.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
