- LGLydia GSep 29, 20265.0Lola had a great experience at Banfield. The staff was exceptional. Isabella was so sweet to Lola. They were able to fit us in last minute. It’s nice to know we have a reliable and friendly vet nearby for our Lola.
- AAAlfSep 9, 20262.0Ive been a wellness member for almost 15yrs now.... lately the quality of service has been less of a good experience. My pet chihuahua is 15yrs old and has been seen at more than one location for his chronic allergies and now problems that will affect his overall health as a senior dog. My biggest complaint is the lack of consistency and consideration for a pet that has been seen for many years by the same establishment and 99% of the vets that see my pet never take the time to review his history. History that is literally on their data base for easy access. Its understood that the same vet will not care for my pet, but all of the vets work for Banfield and should take a little of their busy time to review the patient they are about to treat. I believe this could not only save time but show some interest in trying to resolve a chronic problem instead of treating the patient like its the first time there. Also if the patient is on medication for long term / chronic issues such as allergies why not just include refills to avoid having to schedule appointments.

I have a dog on heart medication, they called me 6 days before he was needing a refill that is a subscription from chewy, to tell me they need to see my dog before refilling the prescription which i understand, but it takes 3 to 5 days to get the medication and I cant leave work with one day notice. They told me well we did our part we texted you a month ago. I pulled up the text and it only says he is due for check up...nothing about denying a life saving refill. Not having the medication could kill my dog, and he just kept repeating "we did our part"

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
